Indeed, it appears to have been a simple brain fart in which, while looking for the Raiders' first playoff opponent, the author instead secured the 2007 season's first regular season opponent. As Pep is well aware from his 1997 New York State Blooper of the Year, ish happens.

I posted it more in jest hoping to rile up the Ithaca faithful, but it appears they have gone into hibernation along with the rest of the E8.  For the record, I appreciate all the content and services you guys provide and understand how easily a typo like that can occur.  But that didn't outweigh my desire to get the FDC yapping about some Ithaca-hating.

It appears, Kaz00, that the AU guys now have taken over the E8 boards. If that's any indication of AU's imminent rise to the top of the Empire 8, Pep is liking it. If it means that all the E8 posters are frolicking with the festivities with football furthermost from their minds, then so be it.

Pep's Bandwagon mileage update as of 12 noon Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007: 284,999 but a quick trip up the street to the bank will roll it over the 285,000 mark.

Call up Sarge and 73, if the Saxons are gonna dominate the boards we might as well party!  Too bad there aren't many around since the Miracle in Mississippi is in the Final 4 of the Pontiac Game Changing Play of the Year contest and we should all support a D3 school winning the contest.  If the results of the Pep Bandwagon poll are any indication, Trinity doesn't have a shot at that $100k.

Max just got back from the annual holiday break football game with his high school buds... Max is planning on being sore for a couple days, including a long drive to Philly on Sat. As Max's buddy Ben says, "the best thing about the annual football game is that there are 364 days to recover for the next one."

Kaz, my contribution will be that the announcers said the same thing during the ESPN broadcast.  Maybe he was just going off of that.

Whoever they choose- I hope the transition is as close to seamless as possible.
That D loses quite a bit to graduation and will need to step up in a hurry next year.

I honestly think that the D won many games for Fisher this year and hope that they can pick up where the seniors left off!

If you want to promote division 3 sports, do a google search for pontiac game changing performance and vote for the only d3 play that will likely be seen there for a long time.  We only have a few days left and Appalachain State is currently in the lead. 

A vote for Trinity is a vote for d3football.
