I'm loving it.

P.S., I am fairly certain JU was saying that Kramer would stay away from my daughter if I named her Stagg Bowl.

+k all around.

Good one, Jose.  +K

Pep was hoping for a Chargers-Packers Super Bowl. Pep is getting tired of the New England Patriots. Time will tell whether Brett Favre gets his shot....

Pep, talking to himself here, says Go Giants! An E8 Coach in the Super Bowl? The Giants' Tom Coughlin was head coach of the former RIT Tiger Football program back in the 1970s (1970-1973), which was, to put it nicely, a difficult coaching start if Pep remembers correctly.

Pep is always happy to say there was a Saxon in the Super Bowl early in its history. AU grad Norm Schachter served as a referee in one of the earlier contests. Perhaps someday another Saxon, Bill Schuster (#129) will serve as a referee in a Super Bowl.

Would give Pep some +karma for even hanging around these lonely boards, but Pep can't do that.  :'(

After a bit of online research, Pep learned that Schachter actually worked three Super Bowls!

SJFF82

82 is officially back to "SJFF82" ...I guess "GOEASTREGION82" really screwed MUC up, so maybe for week 1 next year I will revert back.

I see SJF has a couple open dates right now.  I heard that one is being filled with Galludet...WHY???, but the other open date is in common with Wesley and Salisbury's open dates.  What a schedule that would be...MUC, WESLEY, SPRINGFIELD, ALFRED, ROCHESTER oh yeah...and ITHACA.

theoriginalupstate

I'd like to see Wesley added personally....

Alfred will have the same schedule as last season with the exception of replacing Thiel with Fairleigh Dickinson (home game), and replacing Hobart with Rochester (at UR), giving the Saxons six road games and four home games. Yikes.

Road trips to St. Lawrence (Canada), Springfield (MA), and Husson (Maine) in addition to Hartwick (Hilltop), Utica (Club) and Rochester (backyard). Home games with Fairly Dickenson's Modeling Agency, Nor-wichwaytotheexit, Ithaca Pep Band and St. John the Fisherman.

Thanks for the update Pep.  That will be a tough schedule for the Saxons and their new QB.  It seems like Alfred may be setting up their scheduling for Hendrix' senior year.  Pencil me in for the trip down to Madison in 2009 and hopefully we can get KS to join the band for that game as well!

Pep is always eager to see the next year's schedule. Pep sees AU perhaps taking on a different role in the E8...starting slower in '08, but improving with each game and perhaps having a decent shot at Ithaca and Fisher at Merrill Field after a brutal six-game road schedule.

While Pep is pleased now with the Bandwagon after a North Carolina trip during which it logged with ease another 1900 miles, Pep is wondering whether it will be up to trips to Canton, Springfield (MA), Husson (ME), Hartwick, Utica and Rochester.

This may have very well been posted a while back, but TGP is just seeing it for the first time.  Nice job with the "Whom the Bell Tolls" and game footage!

This may provide fodder for years to come, but the NFL team that Pep, Pep Jr. and Kaz00 support just named James Saxon as their new Running Backs coach.  Don't be surprised to see the Purple Haze in Miami teal in 2010!!!

Oh, and Pep, while at del Campo's office this morning I noticed that his diploma was from FDU (Teaneck campus, when they had a dental school) and I invited him to join us next season at Merrill Field.

True, but the Metropolitan Campus doesn't have a football team, so this is as close as the Doc can get to watching his alma mater play at Merrill.

KS, if your schedule is free in 2009, will you be lending your musical ability to the band?  It's only a 40 minute ride from Broad Street on the Morristown Line.  Throw in 20 minutes on the PATH and your trip will only be a fifth of ours from Mayberry!
