Boobs, this will be the first year since 2002 that SJF wont have an undefeated record going into the UR game....

Or maybe they will...

Oh how sweet it would be if they were still undefeated heading into that game...

superman57

Well that first game will probably be up there in the top 5 all time regular season games... I am waiting to see what we have at qb and rb... see if we can compete with the offense or what

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Ha, I wouldn't say it will probably be up there in the top 5 all time regular season games, I just wouldn't go there at all.  That Ithaca-Fisher game a few years ago that ended in the phantom interception, that was a pretty good one.  The Ithaca-Fisher game the next year that ended on a real interception, that was a pretty good one.  The Delaware Valley game in the 2nd round of the playoffs in '05 was a good game.  So with the potential for a blowout and such looming, the game might not even go down as a top 5 game in Fisher's past 5 years let alone top 5 all time regular season game for the entire division 3 level.  But I like your enthusiasm Supes!

Im glad to hear that the D will be sound-- but guys--replacing Stepnick is a tall order.  His ability forced qbs to always look to the other side and by the time a pass took place Miranto was there with solid coverage.  Secondary is going to need to step up- they have HUGE shoes to fill.  The O is my biggest concern.  QB?  RB? Here is to hoping that the Cornell transfer lives up to the billing--this could be one hell of a season!

91-  I agree, the Uof R game could be a problem- they have a kid at RB this year from down my way- big, strong like Robby- if they come up with a O-line, it could be interesting for the Fisher D- lost my inside scoop this year about U of R- Noah's not coaching

Hey er- great to see ya on!
Hope all is well and hope Rob is doing well in Cali!
If the RB is solid and the transfer from Cornell lives up to the billing, we could have a real nice season on our hands--that said the sched is brutal!
Let me know which game you are going to and ill make it a point to get out to Roch!!  Too many of the doctors retired so ill have to hold up my end of the parking lot!!

Wow, midseason activity from the night shift.  I think I could read Fisher explanations of why they will run with Mount all day and night.  Each one is funnier than the last.  Since we are still a month or so away from it all, I fully expect a "if they all sleep through their alarms we got a shot" post before it is all over.

By the way...

Finally someone admitted it.  +k for candor.

91- not sure which games I'll make, but will let you know when I know- glad to see your little bonfire in Utica did not interupt the flow of "mothers milk"

fisheralum91

The flow was slowed a bit- but certainly not to the point of going without.
They are doing the canning in Roch and the bottling plant is back up and running so there will be no disruption in UC service!
Ah yes --hot summer day---a seven iron that doesnt fail and a cold UC--thats the good life.

Hey Tags...if you're gonna be in the Houston area and ever get down Corpus Christi way, do me a favor and visit the unincorporated hamlet of Alfred, Texas. It's just south of I-37 west of Corpus Christi.

I'm not Tags, but having lived in Corpus Christi for a few years, I have been through Alfred, Texas a few times.  I've also been to the same one in Ohio and the original one back up in New York when I had a thing for a girl from Almond.

That makes three Alfred's for me.

booby, I'm not talking about regular games that happen all the time... I'm talking about non-conference... kinda like USC-Ohio State early in the season

Pep has three Alfreds as well....just missing the North Dakota and Texas. So what's in Alfred, Texas? More, Pep hopes, than what he found in Alfred, Ohio!

The only reason that Alfred, TX might be a little bigger may be that the families are bigger there than in Ohio!  Someone may have had three kids instead of two.
