Ummmm good try but no im not Randy Browne. And i dont see whats the problem with me having confident in hartwick. Im not completely biased, I also think Ithaca would be really good this year. So im no more of a moron then the rest of the idiots who are completely biased by picking their teams to win it all. With that said thanks for the warm welcoming to the boards. lol

I say Ithaca wins this league this year (I did not think they would last year) because of Juvan.  This kid improved 1000% over a one year period and got better each game.  With a few key WRs comming back and a bunch of younger guys that I saw make big plays in that MUC game, I see IC having a fantastic year.

Ok Randy, I'm sorry. That was a low blow. Lets talk football. The road to the E8 championship generally runs through either Ithaca or SJF and I don't think this year will be any different. Alfred has been knocking at the door for the past 2 or 3 seasons and I think that this is the year that they start and finish strong, winning against both SJF and IC. As for Hartwick, I think that they have some talented players but nobody is going to sleep on them this year and I don't think they'll win 3 conference games this year.

Whats up to everyone on the Empire 8 message boards.  I am a former player and have now become a d3football.com poster looking to contribute to the discussion.  AUpep, hows life in Alfred?  How are we looking for next season?

I agree that would be a very tough task, but they had a pretty young team last year, and gained alot of experience and confidence. And don't forget they almost beat Alfred on the road last year. They had 2 turnovers ,a missed fg, and had 1st and goal on the 1 yard line on 2 separate occasions, and failed to score and they only lost by 10. I see them losing to ithaca and upsetting St. john Fisher. And look for boltus to have a record setting year through the air and on the ground. Also jack phelan who i dont even think is the best WR on that team, completely dominated teams last year.

Almost beat Alfred sure, but don't conveniently forget that you barely beat Ithaca by 2 points and Fisher lost by 3 despite an earlier missed field goal and the failed 4th down attempt at the 1 or 2 yard line at the end of the game that could have easily won it for Fisher.  I think Hartwick will be ok this year, but won't repeat last year's performance.

Booby, thanks for the karma and that is indeed Patrick Bateman himself.  Looking forward to the 2008 season.  I believe Alfred reports to camp on the 13th this year.  They are reporting earlier this year because the bye week actually occurs during the season and not on the first week.  Wish we had that when I played.
