I've been off the boards for a while (not that I've ever posted very often) due to a stroke I suffered in  March.  Just now going back to work fulltime. It appears that QB is the biggest question for Alfred.  Pep, any scuttlebutt?

I am pretty sure that Alfred will be ready to step into the "tennis court" that is Hartwick's Football Field.  Coach Murray never underestimates an opponent and you can be sure the saxons will come to play.  Hartwick should be a good team this year...Boltus is a differencemaker, should be the frontrunner for player of the year in the conference once again.

That is covered with Goose Poop.  They should do what St. Peters College has done with their baseball field.  They have a bunch of wooden dog cutouts that are painted black, and they do a decent job of keeping the geese off the field.  Not nearly as much goose poop as there used to be.

Hartwick's facility, All-Weather Field, has been vastly upgraded over the past few years. From the pictures I've seen of the renovations, it looks much nicer than the field I visited in 2003.

Yea I actually haven't seen the field before the renovations, but I've seen pictures and it looks much better now...and its called Wright Stadium now

Hartwick actually has one of, if not the best, playing surfaces in the entire nation, let alone D-3. Pretty modern stuff. And they just built a new building and stands to make it look top notch. I do admit, its nothing compared to the facilities at Butterfield, but the turf is the best around. A million times better then playing on that sloppy grass.
