So Max's dad is a former geriatrician that now works as a consultant to improve the quality of life in nursing homes for both residents and staff, making them more "home" and less "hospital", etc. etc. He sent me along this article, written by an author with a great name, as we all know:

http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080806/OPINION02/808060324/1039/OPINION&GID=krH4VpQVw8helX1kOESUjUIXjFLtbHIkTlY4mI2UNN4=

Now, I know it's probably not our friend that wrote this article, but if it is, I'm glad he's no longer getting "exited" about the fateful "Saterday" and is now doing good things with his life.

Nice find, Max! It very well could be Our Man Gatto as everyone knows that he likely learned a few things while earning his degree at Alfred University....and certainly the proper spelling of excited and Saturday could be listed on his "Top Ten Things I Learned While Posting on D3 Football.com Boards While Still A Player."

+K for remembering Gatto

Hey E8 board,
I've enjoyed reading this forum for a couple of years now and I figured that I would join in now that my playing days are over. I read some of the posts about boltus and for what its worth he is ranked 20th best qb in all of college football for the 2009 draft. I haven't seen enough qbs from across the nation so I can't say he's the best in all of D3 but he is damn good.

fisheralum91

hey tim--where did ya play?

fisheralum91

forget it---i got it springfield--

welcome to the board

conceeding the point that that is very impressive...just out of curiosity who ranked him there?

welcome aboard.

A drafting system on the NFL database. I work at a sports agency so I'm always looking up D3 guys.

fisher has a lot of holes needed to be filled----that said-- it looks like through transfer and recruiting that they may be filled very well.
much too early to say-- but im optimistic.

would like to see another run at MUC in the playoffs--though one meeting a year with them is plenty!

I love that they're playin MUC in the regular season...I would love it more if SJF beat them.

the schedule for the alma mater is a killer one this year----Out of Conference also includes Salisbury.
Should make for one tough sched.

How ironic that the Fisher faithful are now deriding Hartwick fans because Hartwick hasn't shown that they have the staying power....

seems like a related discussion was had last year.

Jose will try and bring up Fisher's staying power until the day he dies.  Annnnny chance he has - well let me tell you he is going for it.  You have to admire the dedication.
