There's a nice little track across the street.  Oak....something.  Maybe they'd let the Fish jump on there when it wasn't in use. ;D

Oak....something is proly comparable to Mayberry's VanderView. Does Oak have a dog-leg around a barn that has 100s of golf balls embedded in its roof?

Tags,
Not sure if Big Ed will be out an about tonight... He hit the book the other week at the Elks but had to split it w/ Switch... Still, if I were you I'd try and hit him up for a drink or two.  He's got more money than he knows what to do with!

FA I'll try and give Parks or Kramer a call this weekend and see what's happening at camp.  I haven't heard a thing since I moved!!!

Did anyone catch the ESPN analyst this morning (I think it was Michael Smith?) say that the Bills are his sleeper pick to get into the playoffs?!?!  Brought a tear to my eye hearing that!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone, I'm heading up to Tahoe for the weekend to see what kind of trouble I can get in to....

With the way their starting O and starting D showed up Pittsburgh last night I'd say he's right...

They made Big Ben stay in last night just to score vs Buffalo's 2nd string D.  Congratulations Big Ben you and Holmes burned a 3rd round Bust (Youboty) and a converted WR turned FS (Wilson) on a 40yd pass that seemed to hang in the air for about an hour...

FA91- looks like the IC game is the only one I'll make too, we'll have to give the doctors a shout and see if we can have a little reunion that day- I'll probably make the Alfred game too, it's only about a half hour away from Bath

Ummm....I don't think so.

Quote from: theicdubbz on August 15, 2008, 02:25:50 PMI thought this was a general, given, rule???

It really ought to be.

Two years ago a good friend got married during football season (because he works in MLB and set the date before the Gators released their schedule).   Turned out to be UF-Auburn at Auburn.

We set up a radio in the men's room without telling the bride.

Went in to take a leak in the fourth quarter to find about 15 people (including several women - yes includ MJQV) hanging in the men's room listening to the end of the game.

The one Auburn scores like 19 straight to win by 10?   War Eagle, baby.

this was probably talked about way back when but...i was bored on a friday here at work and decided to look it up anyways.

The direct corollation between fishers success in recent memory and the bills moving their camp to the Cardinal nest.

Vosburghs records... Note the horrible records before and good after.

1991       0-9
1992       4-6
1993        5-4
1994       5-4
1995       1-9
1996       2-7
1997       1-8
1998       3-6
1999       1-8
2000       1-9  ENTER BUFFALO BILLS TRAINING CAMP
2001       3-7
2002       6-4
2003       8-3
2004       10-2
2005       8-3
2006       12-2
2007     11-2

And it looks like they will stay for at least another 5 years.  Which means Vosburgh will have a job for as long as he wants it.

Ugh..... WHEN ARE THE JETS COMING TO ITHACA?

What year did IC grad B. Faggiano come though???

AUPepBand

That's a good point, JU. IC has produced many successful D3 football coaches i.e. Jerry Boyes (Buffalo State when they were at their best). AU will scrimmage Muhlenberg, where IC grad Mike Donnelly's boys had a nice run in 2007 at 11-1.

Will be interesting to see how that coaching loss pans out at Fisher.

Superman is setting the wheels in motion to make it out for the Ithaca, game... The golf team MIGHT practice at the sad excuse for a golf course, but for the more part I think they use the local courses around the area, I heard a stat once that Rochester has more golf courses per square foot than any place in the country...

And yes Blaise was a HUGE reason fisher was good... it will be interesting to see how the defense reacts...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Also, Pat, I was checking out your "stadium tour" application on facebook. You gotta petition to get D3 Venues included!

Good point!

Hopefully it reacts by not giving up more than 200 yards on the ground to Nate Kmic. How is that allowed to happen two years in a row? Just wondering.

If a dude burns me for 371 yards the year before, I guarantee you the team would have to throw the football every single down the next time I see them.

This just in: Nate Kmic is good.

This also just in: Nobody said he wasn't good, very good actually. Still the question remains how that happens.

Because he is better than the defense St. John Fisher is capable of playing.

Not that St. John Fisher is alone in that department, obviously. Heck, it took three tries for UW-Whitewater to have some impact. And that was holding him to 4.0 yards per carry.

Good news for SJF is that Mount Union is starting an all-new offensive line and this will be Game 1. If the Cardinals have a plan and can execute, they have a better shot than either of the previous two years.

Lol, that pretty accurately sums it up...But I still say it will also be easier this year because we don't have to worry about the looming threat of Garcon and will most likely be able to more consistently add another defender in the box.
