Attendance at Growney for the Alfred-Fish game last year was 3756. Mind you, the game is played in Week #11 and is more subject to weather deterrence than the Courage Bowl, played early in the season as a Saturday night game, barring poor weather, always a better draw.

Courage Bowl attendance at Growney last year, a night game, was 5887.
AU attendance at ButterField last year was 3983.
Fisher attendance at Butterfield last year was 2832.

I liked it better when the AU game was the opener for SJF under the lights.  It brought out the best in both teams.  Raynor had that big game in 02 but a 97yd punt return by Dias proved to be the difference and then Meyers had a big game in 03 but needed a goal line stand to hold off AU!

Count iceman in for the IC/SJF game as well. 

iceman is also passing the Orange hat along this year at the first Bomber home game....sniff

I propose the first annual E8 keg stand championship to take place during the pregame festivities of the E8 championship game on September 27th at SJF.

Three representatives from each school will take turns...

Combined time will determine the championship...

Individual best will be named E8 Drinker of the Year...

I was just sitting around starbucks waiting for a client to get here so I figured I'd take a quick peep at the board. 

Haven't heard too much out of the Fisher camp besides there are still questions to be answered...  Once I can catch up with someone over there I will chime in with some form of update.

'91- glad to hear you got in touch with the doctors!  I won't be able to make it to the IC game but I do believe I am still going to be in town for when Springfield comes to Growney! HEY PRIDE!!!!

I'm hoping all is going well to everyone on the E8 boards.  Pep- If I keep up my travelling I am going to catch that van of yours in no time.  9,000 miles and I've only owned the car for 2 1/2 months     

It's tough being out here w/ no d3 football presence around!  Sac State is about the only football team around here and half the population doesn't know they have a team!!??!!! 

I've got a fever for some d3 action-- and the only thing that can cure it is more cowbell !!!!
