AU will certainly be tested in its scrimmage at Binghamton High School Saturday, August 30 when they face nationally ranked #8 Muhlenberg (11-1 in '07 with a 37-21 playoff loss to Wesley). Pep is hoping the Saxons can stick with the Mules.

Pep,
Any chance we can move Pep Band Camp 2 hours east?  It would sort of be like our scrimmage as well...

Pep certainly considered it. However, in reality, Band Camp is a time for the "campers" to learn the music and the band would be limited in their practice time were they practicing between plays, not to mention the two hours travel time (and GAS!$!) each way.

I'm sittin in my first intro to educational technology class at naz....gettin bored...anyone out there?

Sure, Pep is here....on duty at the library til 11...but keeping busy.

Pep spent 6 to 8 a.m. today at a volleyball practice as Pep is now assisting with the AU women's v-ball team. AMAZINGLY, Pep's first attempt at intramural volleyball at AU resulted in:
1) an intramural championship t-shirt
2) a "job" as volunteer assistant women's volleyball coach

Is it true that Alfred does not cut any athletes that try out for their teams?

For all teams? I don't know... I thought cuts only happened in high school

Gosh, that was the year Fisher blasted Pep's Saxons 53-35 or something like that at Fisher's poor excuse for a football stadium (visitors were invited to graze in the grass while Fisher faithful had a est. 300-seat bleacher section)...with AU's Pre-Season All-American DB Krumie Mabry and returning starting QB Scooter Hendrick suited up for the Cardinals.

'Tis a shame Fisher suited up an ineligible player and had to forfeit that nice win.

Ahh...yes...Krumie Mabry and Scooter.  What a couple of additions to the '95 squad.  'We' were quite stacked that year with other award winning players on offense and defense.  The last second loss to b-port deflated us and then it was soon thereafter that we found out that the ECAC and NCAA was investigating the ineligible player...that kinda sucked the rest of the air out of us heading into a solid RPI and Buff St. stretch.

Has Kmic scored on us yet?  ;D

He's close.  Last known report tracked him on the I-90 heading towards Rochester and ultimately finishing in Fisher's endzone over and over again.

You know what sucks is I wanted to get kickoff but I cannot for the life of me remember my sign on information to paypal and I can't remember the answer to the security questions either....Double threat guy!

Nevermind, turns out you can still use the same credit card and email address even if you have previously registered them.  Delicious.

Yes, in 2007 he scored 2 TDs, totaling 199 yards on 20 carries.

And, in 2006, Kmic scored 3 TDs, totaling 371 yards on 42 carries.

Yes, he has scored on Fisher a few times already.    ;)

That's kinda how it goes, yeah. People who buy Kickoff are gently discouraged from passing the info on for free.
