SJFF82

Any SJFers trekking to Alliance next Saterday???  I put in a formal request of Mrs. 82 to allow me and Jr. 82 to arise at 5am and make the trip out...

boobyhasgameyo

I have reconsidered my stance that I am a jinx and plan on going to Ohio for the 3rd year in a row.  I'm thinking I won't arise until 7 am though lol

fisheralum91

Not going to Alliance.
Ill be at a few games---def IC and UC but the rest-- who knows.

Think i over did it last year.
Mrs 91 was more than accomodating when it came to the jaunts out to Roch.

A few insightful words after returning from the Fisher scrimmage this evening.

Mr. N the FDC needs you!

I can't believe the pages...you guys have been busy!

Might be the most  competitive season in the Empire 8 ....ever!

Nice reading about the FDC.. and NOBODY wants my biased opinion on who's going to take care  of who...

Good to be back....

Far from insightful, how did the RB and QB look?

BTW, if you were going to judge a season's success by scrimmages alone, back in 2004 there was no way in hell the QB was going to throw 30tds and the RB was going to rush for 2000yds...

Sarcasm upstate, sarcasm...

Who said anything about Fisher's season - I said pick MUC to cover the spread. That'd be a game.

O-line looked ok, D-line looked solid, all 3 QB's were so-so, all looked pretty uneasy. I liked Hammel the best, at least tonight. Had pretty good pocket presence most of the time, and he has a nice arm when he lets it go.

Running game is going to be very weak, but it's all relative I guess. Coming off Robby, and (cough) Reile (cough) & Hansen last yr, it's tough to keep that going. Also, it's going to take more than a week for any QB to be comfortable enough to lead this team... which is why not knowing who your QB is heading into Wk1, @ MUC, is a recipe for absolute disaster.

Defense will be solid, although big #99 didn't suit up tonight, and a birdie told me he may not be able to go. Bad deal.

That's a long winded approach to what I initially said about the spread.

Ok. Tired. And I haven't typed that much since College.

Mr.N...personal message

I'm tired of reading about Fisher on the boards (no offense Fisher fans)!

Any IC guys hear/see anything from camp...aside from the supposed stud O-lineman and Crandall's hand?  Being in Rochester and all I'm dying to hear any Bomber news.  All I've had is the D3 preview from the D&C this week!

And where's tecmo???
All hail the Booga

I don't know anything really besides the team is ready to play MUC this upcoming Saturday (6th) and are pretty confident. I'm interested to see just how close this game will be with Kmic returning... Still no word on a QB but I've seen them working 4 guys during practices... in fact they're doing a walk - through right now as I'm typing this.

Oh the joys of living on campus and just having the field outside my window.

Pep would like to request a seat at your window in November 2009 when the Saxons are playing at Growney. Probably a better view than the visitor stands, unless, of course, the college repents and chooses to follow the E8 Code of Conduct and "serve as gracious hosts to their opponents..." and installs some elevated visitor stands.

;D

Saw this coming a mile away.  Pep never disappoints.  +k.

Thanks, Jose.....+K back at ya! Just couldn't resist.  ::)
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!

Jose -

I know it's time for football season.  But I just checked the calendar and noted the Rays are 4 1/2 games up on August 30th, with no Percival, no Crawford, and no Longoria.  Times are good, man.
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

Anyone watching College Gameday?

Tim Tebow the Preacher?

I'm not knocking him, just never expected it...
All hail the Booga
