Thanks Upstate.  I hope it gets utilized this year.

As far as Cortaca, as an out-of-stater, I like it when it's the weekend of Veteran's Day.  That means I don't have to take a day off of school to fly out there.  And the crisp November air is a nice prelude to winter as well.

On the softball front, our pitcher is getting visits from University of Arizona and Texas in the next two weeks.  She's a junior this year, but we'll probably ride her to another state championship.  Not that I've seen a lot of elite softball, but she's just filthy.  It's fun to watch.

Hey Pride

'My' 'Skins are starting to show some life...down 16-7 in 3rd.  Only 2 first downs in entire game so far though.

not so rowdy bomber

so NSRB has been MIA... working for a state authority has its limits. like no being on the computer unless its work related... sooo unless Supa starts talkin' transit or the kommish rattles off some facts on buses, (i.e. Allison Diesel Electric Hybrid Transmissions) Rowdy here will be on when he can.

as for Private skools manning up and jumping on board in the E8... lets throw Wells in the mix.  They now allow the gentlemen to go to school there... I can see a Cayuga Cup in the near future...

ehhhhh Bomberrrrrrrrs!
NSRB was up to South Hill over the weekend... no sign of the team, but it sure nice to be back on the hill.  Should be making an appearance come Homecoming.  Rowdy would be there this weekend... but his cousin is getting hitched at Yankee Stadium in Memorial Park and does expect Bomber-faithful to keep him updated throughout the game with txt msg highlights.

Hey Deuce,

Med school is keeping me pretty busy, it's definitely the big leagues. As for Cal-Mum, it's funny how I remember picking both Fox and Wilson for my 4th grade boys basketball team.  Who knows how long Coach Monacelli will stay, I don't know what else he would do?

Pat is D3football going to showcase games this year like they did last year? If so any fisher games?

Cal-Mum eh?  I was the President of the Chris Jones fan club and charity organization (supporting kids with giant heads and making sure Hancy doesn't go to jail) not so long ago.  In fact, to raise awareness, we even wore game-used #10 jerseys to a game in 2001.

If I dig deep enough in the dresser drawer, I still have a Caledonia American Legion T-Shirt at the house.

Chris Jones was the one who taught me how to throw a football...Thought he should have gotten a better chance at IC...oh well....  As for Hancy, he is out of control...However, for some reason, he is the only person my mother will let  call by her first name instead of Mrs. Keeley..weird.

Cal-Mum is like SJF's prep school, there has been a ton of kids going there the past 6 years...

Not a bad HS team from section 5 to draw players from though...

I know right...fox, capp, vink, fisher, brownie...My graduating class had like 5 guys go there..

Jose,
Are you gonna be making your to the UF-Miami game this saterday

I have tickets but am not sure whether I will go or not.  A kid from my high school is making his debut as UM's QB which could make things interesting.

In related news, JoseQ's alma mater plays on ESPN Friday night.  Check it out...

Jose went to Plant HS?
