Is that the clip from the last boy scout or game film from Vinson Hendrix's senior year at East?

ouch...city-catholic football in Rochester takes it on the chin from Upstate...that was pretty funny though +k

Unfortunatley no.  Dinner plans with the family will not enable me to attend the game this evening.  My brother, who was in on leave from Afghanistan to watch his daughter play T-Ball on the south lawn of the White House, is headed back over Sunday morning so we're all getting together tonight.

I do plan on bringing the kids to the Courage Bowl, weather permitting.

Very cool Upstate, is that the same game that Mike and Mike were providing commentary for?

Wow...are Mike and Mike really going to do the commentary for the Courage Bowl?  That is awesome...

I love how one loss to start the season, to the most dominant program at the d3 level, brings out all these whackos.  I could understand if this loss was to Buff St, Mt Ida, Utica and some other team like that but to cry just because you lost to Mt Union is a bit extreme.

No idea what people are worried about.  SJF is still a proven commodity.  Until someone in the region, or even in the country not named MUC, has taken them down, SJF is still the team to beat...no question

Thats dirty upstate ha....  Vince is a class act, one of the most humble and talented players I have played with...he cant help where he grew up...if you knew about how he grew up and what he came from I don't think you would say that....anyways, looking forward to the Saxons bouncing back this week!

Booby, any word on how Buff State is this year?

I remember in the mid-90's when they had some serious talent...but they have been down for about a decade now...

I know they had higher expectations going into last year, but those expectations were never fully met.  They are returning their best player in Myers who is very talented, but outside of several skilled position players they are not a serious threat.  Not sure about any freshmen or transfers that are new to the program this year.  I expect the game will be close for a while, with Fisher starting to pull away in the 2nd half....Much like how last years game played out.

Well said, deuce. You're right about Vince. Class act all the way. Pep had the privilege of getting to know him better during Spring Break when he joined Pep on the Habitat trip to build a house for a needy family in DeLand, Florida.

Off to Merrill Field to set up the EZ-Up...looks like a wet one!
