Not an OSU or USC fan....but does anyone think there have been an unusual amount of calls against OSU?

Holding on a long run that would have been first and goal (questionable).
Holding on a TD (close, but reasonable).
Early whistle on a scramble for a fumble that gave USC the ball, when OSU recovered it?

I don't even care who wins...tough to admit, but I am a Notre Dame fan...but looks like there are some favorable calls for USC...

Big win for those Irish today...As I am a ND fan myself that is all that matters to me today. However, the $100 I have riding on this game will keep me into it. I think USC is 30 points better than OSU. I think they can win by at least 3 touchdowns. I don't buy the buckeyes at all. They will get rolled by another team tonihgt. Everytime the play a good team, they get smoked

That was great watching the game today...the Irish played like they had a heartbeat today.  Defense looked much better.  I am not expecting miracles, but it is nice to go into every game thinking they have a chance to win instead of last years debacle.

USC is out of this world...I don't know how they ever lost last year with 7 first and second round draft picks.  Don't get me wrong, you will never see me route for OSU...especially because I am tired of seeing them get killed in the BCS championship game.  There have been some questionable calls against them, but that by no means makes me think they are anywhere close to hanging with USC...

A lot of paper work to file to fire someone.

I tell you what, if they lost to Northeastern, he better run for cover.

Its done now man.  Everyone knows about the 7-31 record.  The one that kills him is the the 2-19 record in the Big East.  That is unbelievable...that and the fact that over half of the 31 losses have been by more then 3 TDs...

Even if he wins against Northeastern and finishes the year out, he is looking at about $500,000 a win.

And Ill tell you what, Northeastern will be no easy win.  NU could have beaten Georgia Southern today down in Georgia and actually had a 24-7 halftime lead.  This 1-AA powerhouse Georgia Southern team also gave Georgia a respectable game.

God...there would be no shock if SU lost that game.  I expect it to be competitive for sure.

Pep,
Great to see you yesterday after the game. We need to get our ground game going. WE usually beat St. Lawrence, but Springfield on the road will be tough.  See you at Homecoming!

After watching the webcast yesterday, I was unimpressed with SJF's offensive philosophy. To say that their version of the Shotgun Zone Read is just not clicking would be an understatement.  Either the lineman are not getting enough of a push, the RB isnt hitting the hole and just dancing in the backfield or the defense has just figured it out.  The offense was more consistant, more explosive and more diverse with the QB under center.  The bootlegs are just not fooling anyone and it takes a great pass and great catch for them to be somewhat effective.

Is it because you have a lot of young guys right now, or because they are just new and haven't worked with each other much yet?

AU has a young offensive line that is still trying to find its groove. Pep was pleasantly surprised to see Hendrix in the game....evidently not 100% but also not running behind last year's O-line. 'Tis a work in progress. Pep was pleased to see the team come out and take control of the game (on both sides of the ball) in the second half.

Alfred always struggles with the Larries in Canton. Pep anticipates a tough game, regardless of previous results and records. Pep will try to muster a band to make the five-hour trip.

On Saxon Warriors!

Fisher had 24 first downs, 400 plus yards. What game did you watch on the web?

Pep...sounds like SLU is struggling a bit this year, so hopefully you guys will be alright.  Good to hear Hendrix is back...and good luck next week.
