While Henry and the boys are making some money, the real $$ winners are teams like KC and Pittsburgh.  By far TB's most profitable years were the Namoli years.  Remember, in pro sports money is made on TV and whether you win or lose, you get TV revenue shares.  In game money is just pocket change...

theicdubbz

wow, apparently Dubbz is late to the post IC SJF posting party.

Well, to quickly sum up.

IC + "west coast offense" = 6 points

SJF + single back, shotgun O"= 10000 points

SJF home stands + visiting team fans= Fisher sucks.

Ideas for IC... Defense, send some CB blitzes.

Offense, run the Option and put Danny in a shotgun to give him more time than a 3-5 step drop.

Since I missed the party that is my sum up.

To any IC guys that were at the IC/Wick game two weeks ago got a question for yall.

What did IC run on D?  Were they in a nickle the whole time with two men deep or did they switch things up a bit with different formations?

They ran what they usually run: soft zone, two deep safeties, giving up the short pass (5-7 yard outs, bubble screens).  They did a bunch of nickel and dime, but, surprisingly, they also used their base package quite a bit and dropped the LB's into coverage, rushing four guys. They pretty much waited for Hartwick's offense to make a mistake, which they did a couple times (Boltus picks, WR fumbles). That said, Hartwick moved the ball pretty easily. I guess, to answer your question, Ithaca's defense did all of the above.

Anyone else notice that Ithaca has given up 500+ yards in consecutive games? Ithaca gave up 520 to Hartwick and 502 to Fisher. That has to be the first time in history that this has happened. I don't care who the teams are, that's pretty pathetic.

St. John Fisher enjoys painting portraits, long walks on the beach, and giving up over 500 yards of offense to Mount Union on a yearly basis....

I went to the indians game the other night and told myself that I would only have a few beers and then go home.  I did that exact thing and still probably ended up spending a hundred or so.

Its sick.

Utah,
Have you been to the new Hooters up on Rt. 1 yet?  U89 went over the weekend to check it out....U89 noticed a HUGE disparity in the quality of girls wearing black shirts compared to the females in white tops.  U89 asked his bartender (wearing a black shirt....36 D's, tiny waist and a behind to make your eyes water), "Why do some of you have black shirts and some of you have white?"  Her response, "Oh, all of us wearing black shirts are trainers from different parts of the country.  We'll be going back home after next week....the girls in white are going to be your permanent waitstaff."

Point of my story....do yourself a favor and get to the new Hooters before the end of the week...after that, forget it.....

JU only goes to that part of Rt. 1 for two reasons, and the Hooters is not one of them (and no its not the Kawloon and the Hilltop either).  But I remember the Hooters down near the fleet center had some decent college students every once in a while.

I may have to make a trip up now though.  I have a crazy feeling that many of these women will be having day jobs on Rt 1, and night jobs on Rt. 1.

God Saugus is great.....

WOW...Cortland #1 in the east region poll this week ahead of Fisher and Del Val. I would have them at 3rd, but what do I know.

Cortland is 3 and 0, but I don't know. Del Val has two wins against top 10 teams this year, and Fisher just beat on one of the better teams in the east region. We will see. I think Fisher has a great chance at winning 9 (maybe 10) games this year, after getting past Rowan. That would be a great first round matchup (Fisher vs Cortland), could be interesting. Maybe it is time to start thinking about the great Empire 8 vs NJAC debate we have once a year.
GO FISHER!!!

I don't think this is a general consensus as Adam was the only one to place Cortland at 1 of the 10 pollsters. Fisher has firm control there.

Cortland was high in the poll, they haven't lost, and they've beaten a couple of NJAC foes.

DelVal upsets two top 10 teams in consecutive weeks, convincingly against Salisbury, I might add.

How could Fisher jump those two? At the same time it would punish Cortland for beating the opponents they've faced.

See above. Can't punish Cortland for beating the teams they have in front of them. All three teams have a legitimate chance to be Number 1.
