deuce-- i am showing my age here-- but back in the day we all went to east roch to hang out-- and not until we were juniors or seniors did we venture downtown to prepps etc.

I suppose....but I think colleges like Alfred, SUNY Geneseo, Ithaca have more of a "college town" feel then schools in rochester....That drew me to Alfred and the fact that Coach Murray thought I could play football as well. lol.

Where have Yanks and company been this week?  Is there any significant injuries for Hartwick going into the game?  Practice go well this week?  I want to be in the know, and they have disappeared....

An obvious deception ploy....

They want you to think that they are MIA...

Then if the Hawks upset SJF again they'll just come back in droves saying that the past two years were not flukes and that the Hawks are the better team...

Its sort of the same type of deception that the AU male student body uses againts the female population.  They hide out in the shrubs around GJ's waiting for girls to come out wasted.  Then when they do exit the bar tons of them just pounce on the female trying to hook up...

Its all relative....sort of

Coach Murray knows his stuff....there was a day when Murray thought Pep could assemble a pep band to play at AU games. 

It's a good thing AU has some talented musicians who enjoy making lots of noise at football games!

Last night was beyond surreal.  I hosted a charity event where we honored Derrick Brooks for his work in the community.  Brooks came to the stage and proceeded to talk about ... the Rays. 

+k back.  Since you are a Cortland guy, did you know that C-State has a connection to D-Rays history?  The guy that caught the only 3,000th hit to come on a HR (stroked by Plant High Alum Wade Boggs) was a former C-State ASID (I can't remember his name and the USF website is down) that had just moved to Tampa that week to take a job in the SID Office at USF.  Just to complete the small world/Cortaca Jug special, this IC grad went and escorted from the stands to the clubhouse so he could meet Boggsy and give him the ball.  On the way we discussed...why Cortland sucks, what else?

Upstate choice of girls is few and far between in Alfred....I will admit...haha...Therefore, its usually unecessary for the males to wait...they usually just drink until the girls looks good.   However, GJ's is able to stay open with minors drinking every weekend and public smoking.....Too bad the 'Dise didnt have the same luck as Gentleman Jims.
