UC up 31-0 midway through the 3rd quarter against Mt. Ida.

Any Alfred-Hartwick updates?

theoriginalupstate

I dont care if they hate me or not...

SJF totally got out coached and outplayed today...

Carlton putting the ball on the turf way too many times, i cant believe he is the best option for this team at RB...

The defense got their asses handed to them, plain and simple.  Coaching was horrid, they made no adjustments to stop that offense.  They couldnt tackle to save their lives today either...

Offense made no adjustment after SU took away the inside run...

Pass blocking was horrible...

The ****ing shotgun has got to stop, not one bubble screen today.  the slot guy was uncovered all day and yet they dont have the presence of mind to get under center and start throwing the Bubble screen that has been a staple of this offense for years...

Way to go coaches on not playing gottlieb and melnyk today...

This game was yours but you let it slip away again, this team has had too much talent over the years to drop games to Hartwick/Norwich and now 3 games already.  Good bye NCAAs...

You guys set the bar high with this schedule, now dont even thing of blaming the players because your cracking under the pressure...

hate to say it but the ncaas are a long shot now tho
bailey really showed me something today
kid has talent and heart
i feel bad for the seniors tho--they had the taste of success and now most likely wont get another shot in the playoffs.

too many issues to remark on--but i have never seen this team put the ball on the grass so much

Guys... it's not over. Win the E8 and that discussion is moot.

a 4 OT loss to the 17th ranked team... not the end of the world.

In other news, UC wins 40-8.

No doubt, Bailey is going to be good.

This is a wasted year though with all that talent at WR and on Defense but no consistent run game and no ability by the coaches to adjust.  As soon as coach parks put in this stupid read shotgun crap the offense went to hell.  There is no consistency with it...

To run a 4-3 and keeping those two safeties high all day was dumb, they were not getting to the pitchman.  They should of went back to the 4-4 and had one safety high.  Coach Faggiano had ZERO trouble stopping the option during his time there...

Unless someone knocks off Wick winning the E-8 is not going to happen...

Any updates btw?

haven't seen any. I think UC can beat Hartwick, especially if they can play like they did today.. very little sloppiness.

good point dewcrew but...This is an SJF team that came into the year ranked 10th right? or at least somewhere in that area. They have had two solid (in my view) showings against MUC in the past two games out of three (in comparison to other MUC opponents) which gave the east some overall confidence. This year they were again tabbed "the team" by most and have struggled. Their only convincing W came against IC (which did impress me) but then they proceeded to lose to freakin Hartwick and again today to the 17th ranked team in the nation having 5 key players suspended and I believe missing two others to injury. I know that their two LBS were benched but I think with all the expectations and hopes for the Cardinals this year many, including myself are very disappointed in their play. I really wanted them to win today. They in my mind should not go the the NCAAs this year.

They didn't lose 5 key players, they lost 5 players.  One  never played, one was a backup, and 3 started.  Hartwick isn't the worst team in the world.  Fisher has been failing their expectations.
