Oh great...we suck again!

Its a shame, you have an amazing athlete at QB and if you had any of the other Defenses in the E8 you'd be undefeated...

Outside of the Ithaca game, and giving up all those rushing yards today, they played solid defense all year. They have a bend but don't break defense, and outside of those 2 games, they did a good job all season.

Allowing 31pts and 400yds a game is not doing a good job...

Ok lets try this again, They have a bend but don't break defense. If your looking for a dominating defense then your not going to find it there. They played good enough defense where it doesn't force the offense to play mistake free football as was the case last year.

E8

The Fisher/Alfred game will undoubtedly come down to Special Teams play because field position is going to be crucial.

Love your calls on WHTK though!!
Thanks!  A lot of fun and I'm pretty lucky to have that position.

Game of the year?

Are you serious???
I did not say it was going to be, I just wanted to get the people's opinon.

sjfcards

I watched the Cortland/Brockport game today, and I think next weeks Cortaca game should be a good one. I think IC is the better team tho.

I am happy that Fisher has a second chance on this season. I think we will find out a lot about the team next week. You have to show up for one game, against a good team, but a team you can beat, to extend your season. Playoffs start now for Fisher.

I predict:

Hartwick is done...
fisher wins and gets in...
IC beats Cortland and gets in as an at large.

Fisher IC in the East region finals? I don't know but Fisher or IC would have a chance. IC can beat any of the east region teams, and if Fisher holds onto the ball (a big if) so can they...

Man Notre Dame is bad
GO FISHER!!!

I agree with that prediction.  Ithaca wins the Cortaca jug in a close one next weekend.

I think the East Region bracket will end up looking something like this:

1.  Muhlenberg (10-0)
2.  Ithaca (9-1)
3.  Plymouth State (10-1)
4.  Cortland State (9-1)
5.  SJF (7-3)
6.  Montclair State (9-1)
7. Albright (8-2)
8. RPI (8-1)

Hoping that Fisher takes care of Alfred next week.  Also hoping Muhlenberg is imported and NOT MUC.

Where is Hobart?

They've got the inside track on the LL, a win vs UR gets them the AQ...

That scenario would set up a Cortland-IC East Region final at IC, not what I would like but interesting.

whoops.  my prediction is as follows for the East bracket:

1-Cortland
2-Case Western Reserve
3-Hobart
4-SJFC
5-Montclair
6-Lycoming
7-Plymouth St
8-RPI

-Mr Rossi pointed out on the LL board that RPI, even with a loss, got a boost today with their previous opponents having success and could still find themselves in the hunt for a pool C.

-Best case scenario for the ENTIRE east is that Cortland wins the Jug and keeps MUC in the north, if IC takes it Muhlenburgh or MUC is imported.

I just don't think there is anyway on God's green earth they would rank Plymouth State ahead of a 1 loss Cortland.  Other than that, it looks good to me.  Although I wouldn't mind a first round matchup vs. Cortland, it's relatively close in distance and it would be a great game to see.  Man I just hope Fisher shows up next weekend.

Yeah but I wouldn't mind Muhlenburgh being imported, it would be a good chance to show that the East can most definitely handle a team like that.  I am just not convinced they are a top 6 team

What about Ithaca at 8-2 in this scenario??  I'm thinking they get in ahead of an 8-1 RPI team...

If SJF protects the ball next weekend they stand a good chance of walking off the field as E8 champs...

If the turnovers continue it could be a long day vs a potent AU offense...
