Has anyone seen the front page article on the finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy?  I'm glad Boltus was nominated but his write up is horrible...especially compared to the others... i dont understand why they didnt put his stats in similar to the other QB's listed so they could compare his stats with the other QBs?  Who writes these up?

Here's boltus's end of year stats... why wouldnt they include these?

I mean 46 TD's and almost 4000 yards passing!... its listed for the other QBs and not him... I think those two stats should no doubt be included and its a disservice to Boltus that they are not..,.

The write up was adequate for a QB who played for a team that didn't qualify for the NCAAs, lost in the ECACs and who racked up big stats against:

Western New England (3-7), Becker (2-7), Mount Ida (4-6), Norwich (2-8), Utica (3-7), 

And cost them the game against Springfield (4-6)

Just so you know this was pointed out to me by a C State Grad... I read them all and thought it was a crumby write on Boltus... and that is why I asked everyone elses opinion... and absolutley I am more interested because he is from Hartwick..  probably along the same lines as your screen name being SJF... i assuming your pulling for fisher

I'd agree it wasn't as flattering as the other write ups considering the numbers he put up.  I voted for him though, he's been a thorn in the side of SJF the past two years...

For some reason Boltus always seems to get the shaft on a national level....how was he not an all-american last year or a pre-season all american this year??? hello??  Everyone is drinking the Mount Union kool aid.....

And as far as him loosing the Springfield game single handedly....that person must not have been at the game.  1 pick at the end of the game in a desperate situation does not constitute losing a game....he single handedly kept them in games for the past few years!!

It was a horrible write up for him and it will be a shame if he does not win this award.

Let's also keep in mind that the Gagliardi trophy doesn't necessarily go to the best football player either (if it did, Nate Kmic would be the hands down winner, and he's not even nominated).

Although I do think MUC's QB has had more success and has shown over the years that he can lead his team to some big victories.
