I have only a few cell phone rants....

#2, if you leave REG a VM, you must...MUST leave your return number tweece.  and second about the return number...when you are saying it, pretend that someone is writing it down....e.g. I have heard gro leave phone numbers for people like this "3424....1743....23" dood, what is that??
A normal vm should be "my number is "517....322....2222....again thats 517.322.2222 (much quicker the second time)"

Also how about leaving the date & time when you call??  I try to do that when I call people...why can't they do the same for me..so I don't have to guess when the message was left.

Oooh, LD11 broke out the Zack Morris phone.  One of Stlarry's friends actually has one of these in her car in case of emergency (i.e., if she's getting mugged, she can grab the phone and beat the crap out of the guy with it).

I had a phone once with all that crap and Id have to charge basically everyday if I used it.  Less crap, more battery.  And the chicks actually dig the "beige cx-1984" model that I carry.

What the hell does Saterday mean?  Did you invent a new word?  I kinda like it spelled that way better then Saturday...anyway.

In the heat of the posting the week of the AU at IC game in '05, an AU player actually posted a message and, as football players are apt to do, mis-spelled a few words, including Saturday. You'll see reference to it in several IC posters' signatures. The original post is in Maninyellowhat's signature: "i can't wait to line up on saterday and see if your boys are as tough as you guys build them up to be."

IC posters often use that preferred spelling in their posts.

Reminds me of my days as sports editor of the Morrisville Chimes back when Moo'ville was a junior college. As sports editor, I had a staff of ten sportswriters, one of which was a young man from Scotia who repeatedly spelled the mid-week day "Wensday." Having corrected it more times than I wanted, I informed him that by Act of Congress, that day, which Congress found too easy to spell, was being changed to the more difficult "W E D N E S D A Y." I never had to correct it in his stories again.

I just had my first good cell phone toss in a while.  Im on my office line with a customer, and the same # beeped in twice.  THEN, my cell phone rings immediately after from the same #.  THEN, my voice mail beep goes off, and I just had it and sent the phone for a ride.  Smashed it off one of my tables.  I HATE EVERYONE!!!

Mama JT thinks JT has a problem.  She recently asked "How was work?"

JT: Fine.  Just keeping it simple.  I hate everyone!

MJT: You don't really mean that do you?  I didn't raise you that way (Her response to the things JT does that upset her)

JT: Absolutely, why repress it.  You want JT to go postal.

MJT: No.

JT: Look if I'm not on vacation, at a game, chilling with friends or chilling with FMJT, people annoy the crap out of me.

JT:  Other commuters, vendors, customers, service people et al., suck.  Most of them are so stupid, they don't even realize they suck.  They don't know how to merge, accept blame, leave phone messages, keep promises, do their job, keep a deadline, etc.

MJT: Perhaps you need to talk to someone.

JT:  Nah it would cut into my precious free time and piss me off. 

This weeks example

We are sending a sales kit out to a drug company's sales force via Fed Ex.  Some are getting multiple kits.  These kits are delivered to their home as per instructions:

Out of 1,000

75 are bad addresses - multiple sales databases are not cross referenced with human resources database. This has been going on since we've been doing business with this customer

56 sales people REFUSED delivery of the kits even though they were told to look out for it.

37 of those sales people that REFUSED the shipment called to bitch that they didn't get the kit.

20 of those REFUSED multiple kits

125 of those didn't take the kit to the sales meeting the kit was for.  Then got mad at us for not have extra kits at the hotel.

JT bit his tongue but wanted to ask the buyer what is required to become a sales rep.... Fog a mirror and you're qualified.

When I go to meetings that I need to fly and stay a couple days....I have a problem.
As if I didnt already have to pack a couple sets of clothes, because you never really know what the dress code, "business casual" means.  Usually it is at least 2 diffenet things, and then you are then going to give me hard copies of everythign we talked about?  WHy don't they ship the stuff from the meeting to my house?  WHy do I need to lug it around?

If my post sounds like it was written by a pre-schooler, blam it on LD11 for posting such a large picture....I am not scrolling back to see what I have already wrote in order to make sense.

I hate all these mellon farmers at work!!  Dump an ish load of work on poor gro, then tell me to "use good time management". I know what that means... 12 hour days on the horizon!! Then, tell gro he has to go to a meeting in huntsville trailerbama TOMORROW.

well, 25% of my problem is me... cuz I've been putting off stuff due friday until friday. Now that due date is today cuz I'm gonna be in the van half a day tomorrow.

BUT, what REALLY gets me is when people know how busy I am then they want the status of projects A-Z.  I have no time for you stupid baish!!

The bottom line is this...

I also hate everyone.

I planned an online training with a customer, which cuts into my precious time.  2oclock.  2:15 rolls around, i call the school...'Oh she hasn't showed up yet.'  I HATE YOU!

And other than Regulator, I hate sales guys.  My sales reps give me a hard time when I call, cause I either:

1.  Cut into their golf game
2.  Called when they were at a customer
3.  Called them when they were on vacation
4.  Called too early in the morning
5.  Called to late in the evening...

YET, they call me after 7pm whenever they please.  Get over yourselves a$$holes.
