The placement of Union is actually most interesting to me...Above Alfred and Ithaca with one-loss records.  E8PPers will not be happy.

Why wouldnt they? Union's (along with SJF) only loss is to the NCAA's top ranked team in the region?

the same is true of Alfred.  Alfred also played SC much toughter that Fisher did.

AU scored a TD w/ 4 seconds left to pull within 7....

I'm not using the S'field game, really -- just looking at the games since that game.  There's been a lot made of Union's struggles at the end of games.  I think they might be giving Union some credit based on last year's playoff run.  Hey, as a Union guy, I welcome that.  I'm just trying to figure out what their motives/intentions were because people (ahem, Jose) question my analysis of such things.

Frank; at least you strive to be as objective as possible....ZA was a bit surprised also because struggling wins will have an affect on polls ZA believes...When you start to analyze 6 through 10, it always gets pretty tough to figure out...It really doesn't mean that much...

Nice to be in the top ten, even if it's number 10....

TGP thinks this is the case - esp considering Union's playoff win over IC last season was pretty impressive (55-38 right?)

I dont think it has anything to do with it....

However their QOWI being higher than IC and AU might....

Did anyone else look at this page and think, "Boy I'd love to see Gary Russell Jr. take on the two golfing ponces at the bottom of the page"?

Perhaps The Rev has a slight violence streak and penchant for human misery and destruction.  Nonetheless, The Rev would like to see the two golfers have their teeth knocked out by the young boxer.  Maybe it's just me.
