Bman suggests giving NW an angry pirate and posting it on you tube...

That should take care of the problem...

...would that be bad?

Man, it looks like I missed some fun today!  I am in New Jersey, where it's Halloween EVERYDAY!!!

I'm about to go fill myself with retarded amounts of raw fish, and by raw fish I mean sushi, and not hookers in Newark.

Shoesapalooza is looking bad right now.  i'm trying my best but I can't promise anything.  School sucks!  'Gro, you are retarded.  Do you really think it will be possible to pace yourself at the game, sober up, take a nap, AND go out to Albany?  It's more like, wake up, drink, puke, eat, wrestle, watch the game, eat, wrestle, go to O'Leary's, eat, puke again, change, go to the Ruck, see chicks you hooked up with in 1999 who still live in Troy, work a couple MILFS, eat Ruck Wings, eat Pizza, cab to hotel, get woken up by cabbie, puke on the inside of the cab door, run, wake up Sunday, have a huge headache all day.  THere is no fancy shmancy.  Oh yeah, I forgot you weren't there last year.

Time for that raw fish.

Gagliardi Trophy is not just based on performance on the field, it also involves academics and community service. Just throwing that out there as a reminder.

Pat,

While you are correct about the guidelines for the Gagliardi Award, I seem to remember that last year you made a strong pitch on this site that a player's football ability should be the predominant criteria for the award.  That argument tended to support the candidacy of Linfield's Brett Elliott.

Not that Tom Arcidiacono does not also have excellent academic achievement and community service as part of his resume.  He is a fine young man and is a very deserving candidate whether or not he ultimately earns the Gagliardi Award.

Yes, that's what I said it should be, but I remind people that that is not what it actually is.

The 2006 Gay-liardi Trophy Winner is....

REGULATOR!!!

Congratulations Mr. Regulator!!!  You win the prize!

Enginegro, This week, LLPPFFL, we go head to head.  Early estimates have you as a big favorite.  5 game win streak keeps LD11 in the game.

LD11's $$ FFL featured me down 25 going into last night with Dillon, Longwell, Watson and the Pats D.  Dillon and Longwell were non-factors, but Watson and the Pats D gave me a nice 9 point win, and broke a 6 game losing streak.  Thats right.  6 game losing streak!!!  I am now 2-6 and tied for last place...

Work Politics Update:

If the LLPP,Inc crew recalls, RT sought counsel in handling an issue with a egotistical, caniving, self-promoting woman he is forced to work with. RT explained how she always is maneuvering for her own benefit and she has the respect of some of the management in the company.

In the latest development, RT and his peer collaborate to provide sales coverage on an account that this woman is tied to. She loves RT's peer because she hates RT...even though RT is the stud of the operation and provides all the results. NW (nasty wench) sends a note to RT's boss, unbeknownst to RT, mightily singing the praises of RT's peer and what a great job he's doing...no mention of RT. RT's boss and RT are great friends so he told RT about the note to let me know she was up to her old tricks and that he knows the real deal.

So RT's sitting here hacked off over this tactic and wants to call NW to the carpet over it but has not for a variety of reasons. First, he doesn't want to compromise his boss for sharing this when she thought it was in confidence. Second, he doesn't want NW to think RT cares about her tactics...perhaps this is a plant by NW because she assumed RT's boss would share this w/ RT and she wanted to get a rise out of RT?? RT is trying not to act in haste....is RT making more of this than he should? Yes, she is singing the praises of the coworker but she absolutely knows RT's involvement and by going out of her way to single out 1 guy on a joint effort w/ no mention of the other, that is an indictment of RT (in RT's opinion).

RT needs the personnel dept of LLPP,Inc to weigh in....

In addition to other LLPP'ers recommending the high road, look for opportunities to expose NW to others in power positions.  If they see RT kicking ass and taking names and while getting no deserved props from NW, they take note.  Or better yet, maybe she'll take credit for stuff RT does.  Document everything. He who has a paper trail rules.

What RT needs is more allies, because your boss is one transfer from leaving RT on his own. Its hard to compete with women like this... because they can pull that monthly visitor card and they have that harrassment card as a last resort.

Women like her either self distruct or become upper management.  Your mission is clear RT, don't let her become upper management.  You need to cleverly expose her game to others.  Patience is key grasshopper.

RT and Gro, Smallbany HAS turned into martini bars as they try to turn one of the most dangerous small cities into something it is not....(a place to hang out with the "upper class")...

They just remodeled the cocoas motel on route 9 and the suites don't cost much more than a room at the holiday inn....AND, they upgraded the suites to the point that one could direct and star in an "erotic video production" instead of the standard porno...Why they have a suite that is as large as the first floor of some peoples homes....And they don't even smell like people actually did do a porno movie there....Amazing.....

Sounds like z22 has tried out the "accessories" in Smallbany.

Yes ZA, Albany has gone trendy. Don't know if its gonna be good or bad for the city. For those in the know... what's the scoop on Troy? Troy Pub, O'leary's, the Ruck are all in biznass. Anything new? anything cool i've never even heard of before?

The Ruck better not go out of biznass, until JT gets to sample the wings.  Rowan plays Willy P on Friday night... last game of the regular season. Can JT finagle a Shoes game with a European cruise looming.. flight out on Nov 19th to Rome?  Odds are stacked against. Maybe I can blame Pat.  Pat threatened to revoke my d3football.com access card. Stay tuned.  I'd bet on the Better Half... large, but JT likes being the underdog.

  All you RPI Guys,
Since its Halloween, anybody ever  hear stuff about the Pinewoods Cemetary in Troy?  I believe that's what it is called and supposedly its one of NY most haunted places.  Any input?

Been there, done that.  Different opinions among those who I was there with about the "fright" factor.  I'll save the specifics, but it's a little dangerous in the first place at night.  I'd save my thrills for something a little more outside of a desolate portion of Troy.

PS- the odds that LD11 ends up coming to SP2k6 are 3/5.  There is NO WAY he is going to pass this opportunity up!

Reg....MRT and RT stayed at the Rensselaer Inn last year for some ungodly reason even though we live in Saratoga. 3 stars is laughably generous. Besides the sky blue painted concrete walls in the room, it was a complete dump. John Wayne toilet paper, scratchy towels, and a comforter that would make a Dateline NBC episode cringe. Also, no toiletries and 13 channel "cable tv" really made it a winner. RT suggests you do the Holiday Inn select on Rt 9 in near the Latham circle.

RT is hearing rumors of parties at various sites but RT is going to put a stake in the ground and declare O'Leary's on 15th St the official LLPP,Inc after party bar beginning at 5pm....

So, 'gro...How 'bout a little inside bet?

Union wins, and you buy my booze for the night.  RPI wins, and I buy yours for the night.  Special Rule:  No mixed drinks or shots that cost >$15.00 for any one drink (I think we both have too good of taste for that rule not to exist).  You ins?

whoa whoa whoa... Gro's not calling the plays for RPI and doesn't like to wager the coin on things he can't control (aside from NFL games).  But show up at O'Leary's after the game and bring your darts skills, you'll need them.  Find a partner and you can taste defeat at the hands of Gro and Reg.

You're on, as long as I can loosen the tie and roll up the sleeves.  I might have to take redtackle for a partner - he any good?
