TGP is curious as to whether or not the Montclair loss was like last year's loss to WPU for Rowan (as in, got tripped up vs. an inferior team, then woke up to roll to the Eastern Finals?)

Will be interesting to see how the Profs recover vs. Cortland this weekend!

Would really open up the possibilities for other Eastern contenders (at least until the Final 4) if Rowan goes down and (theoretically) is potentially elimated from playoff contention with 3 losses (although only 2 would be from D3).

Hey, Rev and TGP and all Bart Fans....(who have a sense of humor).....This ones for youssss!!!

Union College plays pumpkin pie,
Will they be in first or will playoff hopes die?
There's just too many weapons for the "U"....
As Hobart moves to number two!

Unless, that is...the weather plays in Hobart's favor,
Which could mean a victory they would savor...
But wait, the weather looks so fine and nice,
But the field, somehow, is mud and ice!!!

Knightstalker

commissioner Gro, the Monkeyspankers have proposed a couple of trades with the suckyairportfatties.

I like it.

The Rev is hoping for a nasty, wet, muddy field.  'Bart is a mud horse.

The Rev is glad to say that at 11:15 AZT, he is feeling his eyelds droop, unlike last night, when The Rev was still awake at 4 a.m. wondering why he posted so much.

RPI GRAD IN THE NEWS

We are coming to the end of another ugly political season, but nowhere was it uglier then in Virginia the other day where a fellow by the name of Mike Stark, a 38 year old law school student and part time blogger, chased down Senator George Allen and his entourage on the campaign trail and asked the senator if it was true that he had beaten up and spit upon his first wife.

When Stark persisted in demanding an answer from Allen, two Allen staffers proceeded to slam him into a wall, put him in a headlock and tackle him to the ground, while all of the network news cameras were rolling.

As I watched the footage of this incident on the news last night, it appeared to me that Stark was wearing a T-shirt with 3 large red letters printed on it that spelled.....R.....P.....I.

I was curious so I did a search on Mr. Stark and discovered that he is a high school dropout from upstate NY that joined the Marines, earned his GED and eventually earned a college degree from (YOU GUESSED IT), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

You got to admire Mr. Stark's enthusiasm and persistence in going after another "empty-suit politician", but I am somewhat surprised that an ex-Marine and RPI grad did not aquit himself better in the two-on-one tag team match with Allen's staffers.  Stark basically got hammered.

I could only imagine someone like Gro in a similar circumstance.  He would have performed a double-choke slam on the two Allen staffers and followed that up with a vicious blind-side head butt to former UVA QB Allen.

'gro

mr. stark was probably one of those humanities majors at RPI, never trust a person getting a liberal arts degree at a tech school.

Gro would like to headbutt a few politicians.

PBR...

the corps will not be happy with his results from his wrestling match....ewww-rahhhhhhh....

Regulator

TLM-

Come on.....He didn't get any more hammered than a punter rolling around on the ground like a girl after someone brushes his shoulder pad trying to block a punt.

While I think that it's crazy people care this much about polotics (in the last 3 days Reg has gotten about 10 phone calls and 20 flyers why NOT to vote for the other guy, I don't know why the guy tried to come out in public and try to slam the guy in front of his own crew.

On that note, I was at my marina during the summer and next door is the community center, where they were giving away a whole bunch of crarp and they had a huge BBQ set up.  It was all for these cats running for a local office and at the end they had this psuedo debate that Reg watched for a few minutes.....when I realized, they were basically arguing with each other....
In the crowd were basically 52 people....25 were the diehard republican party supporters, 25 were diehard democrat party supporters and 2 were people there that didn't give a crap stuffing there face with burgers and chips (Reg was one of these guys)..... after listening for 10 minutes about how these guys plan to "change my little world here in Anne Arundel county...I had to leave because #1 I wasnt interested... #2 nothing is actually going to happen around here... #3 I didn't bring my Milller Light with me.

The only thing that RPI grad did was try to get attention focused on himself and make it into a huge scandel that these guys beat the crap out of him or something.

Rolevio is curious if this is also true of people getitng engineering degrees at liberal arts schools.  Rolevio may not be trustworthy afterall.

Somebody in accounting just asked 'gro how to calculate square footage... when my paycheck gets deposited tomorrow I'll know inside that I made a difference.

Of course it is... here is your Union College engineering degree at work

it's science.

Garnet

Check your trade offers.   The system is giving Garnet a hard time making uneven trades.  One trade had to be rejected since a player involved was already traded.  Reg, Garnet thinks that one was yours.

There is nothing wrong with providing a little entertainment for drivers.  One of Rolevio's classmates worked on one of the replacements for that bridge they recently built.
