LD change the offer so it is one for one.  It looks like the system is not letting Garnet accept the trade:

Note: This is an uneven trade, so you will need to drop players to keep your roster under the maximum roster size.

made it 2 for 2.

Garnet

Done!
It's up to 'Gro to OK the deal now.

Rev -

Sorry to hear your trip to Geneva was somewhat a bust.  At least you got to catch up with the fam as well as see some old fellow Hobartians.

TGP has to disagree on one thing though - we can't dogg Cragg on the play calls since it is actually Coach DeWall's as the OC to call the offense.  Cragg, has been, and always will be more focused on defense.  Not sure if this year's club doesn't have the same calibre of playmakers, but it seems like DeWall has been going for the gusto as much as he did in previous years.

TGP wonders if DeWall has gotten more conversative with age?  DeWall is still a pretty young kid - Bart class of 2000 - so maybe he was a little more ballsy/reckless since he "didn't know better" a few seasons back.  You can't deny the kid's talent, as we have seen 2 QBs pass for over 5000 yds in the last 4-5 seasons.

This season TGP thinks they have been too dependant on Blakowski, and since the OL hasn't really stepped up, Bart becomes one dimensional, and thus more conversative in tight games.

Reasonable explanation.  This coincides with an observation The Rev made during the game.  When it was 4th and inches into the endzone, Bart chose to try to shove the ball up the middle.  Problem: Union had been stuffing it down Bart's throat all day.  Super-bad play call.  It seems like a simple enough play to score with, but the OL had been creating holes FOR Union and sending engraved invitations to cream poor Mizro and his backfield.  The OL might as well have set the table with the finest china, too.  Anyway, The Rev wishes they had called a sweep or a little pot pass, which seemed to work on the few times they tried it.

The Rev is worried a little that his criticism of Bart's game can be read as fair-weather fandom (i.e. I only like Hobart when they do well) or that my negative comments might be construed as to take away from Union's performance.  This is not the case, and The Rev will go on record as saying that Union can play ball. Period.

The Rev had a talk with his best friend and former teammate from the old Purple Tornado days.  Somedays you step on the field and it's like the whole team was born just for that moment...even the jumping jacks are synchronized and everything in the universe just clicks.  Other days, it seems like you can't even put your cup on straight or tie your shoes right, and no matter what you do to get pumped and get your teammates pumped, the Fates are against you and from the very first hit, you know you've lost and just have to survive the next 59 minutes to make sure that the only thing damaged is your pride.

God willing, Bart--having had its requisite bad day--will compose itself to play a good game against Rochester this weekend.  Rochester is good this year, and The Rev reckons that after playing so flat last weekend, Bart will have an up weekend and beat the Yellowjackets 34-18.

The fact you flew from AZ to Geneva for a 40 degree cold azz day proves you are not a fair weather fan.

The ole Purple Tornado eh?  Those were the days!

RT,
Garnet was checking out the aerial view of RPI and noticed that there is a small lot close to Peoples.  Is this where you will be? Or will you be in the much larger lot  a little further in from the road?

Garnet is trying to 'earn' a hall pass and hopes he will be able to attend the tailgate/game.

Garnet....send RT the link to said arial photo b/c RT can not picture the "big" versus "little" lot scenario.

Ok..RT sees what Garnet is talking about now. The little lot is not used for the tailgate. Although, we may put the wine and cheese-eating Union fans there...

zachattack22

ZA thought he'd send a repeat of last year's Union/RPI game....One year later, the scenario's changed a bit and there's a few folks not posting like Redswarm and a few others...but all in all, things haven't really changed all THAT much!!!

Zach plays Sax...But it ain't the BLUES!!!

Early in the D3 Season
Ratings had no rhyme or reason...
Redswarm, he just could not understand
Why Union had the "upper hand"...

He consistently shouted,
And he argued and touted...
That a three over time loss
Should make RPI...the BOSS!!!

Ktrout vehemently disagreed,
And said "Hobart should be the # 1 Seed!!!
"At least in the East"....
Then came the LL Post Patterns Feast!

All Hell broke loose from Red Tackle and "Gro",
They simply said, "It just ain't so"!!!
U-89,  82 and Garnet
Couldn't swear on PP, so they said "Darnit"...

"You can call Audino a "Clown"...
but Union's turning the LL upside down!
and Union will be there in the end,
and will go to the big dance my friend..."

This brought on Regulator and many others,
Lewdogg, RT, Holladawg, and a band of brothers!!!
They picked on Rossi, but had to agree,
That no one else could understand or see...

The playoff scenarios...that would set us all free!!!

Who ever imagined, in their wildest dreams,
That RPI's offense and Unions defensive schemes...
Would make the battle of those Garnet and Red shoes,
So important to win...and not to lose!!!

Naked Nott Run, Knightstalker and Apple Jack,
Never let up and never held back...
Opinions kept flying,
Red Tackle kept trying...

To push the LL Posters well pass the E-8,
Though we were a little slow out of the starting gate!

And through all the D-3 "Guru" Devotion,
There was never a let down in our emotion!!!
So here we are...knowing well this ONE game,
Could lead to either school's fortune and fame!!!

The pressure is building, there is much anticipation,
As everyone hopes for the winning sensation!!!
Car bombs and fried food may be the only answer,
To those that lose and taste disaster!!!

And through all this pressure and figuring of "top-seeders"...
The LL Posters deserve props for never losing site of.......Cheerleaders!!!

Well Ill hook you up PBR since I lost another 3 or 4 since posting that.  Seriously, it's Union week and all, but come on?  I bet it's the Rowan morons checking out the board before the playoffs.  You fellas might want to walk away from those dangerous computers before you electrocute yourselves.

OMEN OR NOT U Decide
Today there were cheers comming from Mike's Hot Dogs in Schenectady, NY.
The local hot dog eating contest took place. As usual the Union College students and staff made up a huge part of the cometition. Defending champion, George E. Tiggle was awarded with the championship belt for the 12th straight year. A competitor dressed in a Valor RPI warm up suit did not consume 1 hot dog... He said he works with weenie's all day and can't stand to look at them anymore...
Have you seen this man
Anyone notice how none of the kids from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were even a little bit cool... Where was the athlete who pile drives wonka into the chocolate river??? Coulda done sooo much more with that "classic"
