For all the people that suggest that Audino hates RPI, etc., let's remember that he was on that Conference Call and the ECAC has historically attempted to over-represent the New England teams because of the "Bamford Bias" that existed.  So, it's pretty obvious that RPI, which got the slot that a third New England team was in position to receive, was backed by Audino and Upstate New Yorkers on that call.

Frank -

Don't even know ya, but TGP has been impressed and even a little inspired by your enthusiasm for Union and D3 ball.

If the day ever comes when TGP can get back east to catch either a Bart-Union or even a "Shoes" game in-person, TGP will hope to see you there.

Just make sure you stick around LLPP!

There's a difference between hating RPI, and going to bat for a team in your conference that could represent the league well.

But, that all makes sense.  If Audino is trying to sell you, chances are pretty good you'll get bought.  I heard he took a crap in some tin foil, wrapped them up, and sold them to Hillary Clinton for $1million as earrings.

union fans are the biggest a-holes on earth. that may be a little harsh but overall, they suck. i know up in those parts, the beer of choice seems to be labatt bleu.

...some U fans in the E8 RT sees.....

true - but the opinion on the ecac board is that apparently if cortland loses it will be b/c they "mailed it in" rather than lost to the better team.  tgp is sure that there were a few union fans at the shoes game saying the "this game didn't matter anyways" since the u had locked down the aq.

tgp is hearing, but ain't buyin, it.

btw - props to rpi for helping bart get a "share" of the LL title.  still, tgp doesn't feel like hobart deserved to be champs with the way they played vs. union anyway.

It will be ahuge win for RPI regardless if Cortland mails it in or not.  RPI had a down year with a 6-3 record.  Dissapointing completely.  A win against Cortland would be huge going into next year.  Cortland is probably a better team but if RPI plays to potential, they can win.

Jonny Utah

I wasnt too impressed with Cortland.  But they are well coached, conservative, and have some athletes that make plays.  They also have a great kicker and punter.  I guess it depends on which quarterback plays for them.  From what I understand, it was the second and then third and then fourth? quarterback that played for them last saturday.  And they didnt do a bad job though.

it was interesting too as there was some talk on the cortaca board earlier this week about the Cortland lines being dirty.  I did see 2 illegal chopblocks were called against them on Sat.

Question for LL Posters:

Does Rochester have any posting fans? AUPepBand has never seen a post for the 'Jackets but, truth be told, AUPepBand hasn't spent much time on the LL board.

There used to be a guy from last year who would lurk and then occassionally post. RT is going to have to think of his name. Those damn yellowjackets!!!!

Why certainly. What do you know about those pesty 'Jackets? Would you actually drive to Alfred Saterday, sit in the visitors' stands and make some noise during the game for the AU Pep Band's amusement?
