Frank, in all seriousness, I don't think many of the IC guys have predicted monkeystomps. I predicted the Bombers would win by six points, a final certainly within the realm of possibility. Like I've said in other posts, I think either of these teams could beat the other by two touchdowns if the right things happen. However, this being the playoffs, I think it will end up being much closer than that.

As for the fans adding more stress, you can't let what's said on here bother you. Both teams' fans have said a lot of stupid things(myself included) that mean nothing come Noon on Saturday. Either way, due to this fact, we all know the amount of ish talked by the winning set of fans will be exponentially greater than the margin of the final score. Unfortunately, that's just the way things work in here. Last Sunday, we had Cortland fans saying they "owned South Hill" because they won in OT. If Union wins by a TD, everyone will be claiming LL superiority. If Ithaca wins, everyone is going to say the LL is once again overrated. Are either true? Probably not. Bottom line, stop letting fans get to you. If you're a Harvard Law grad, you shouldn't let such commoners get under  your skin.
A 2004 graduate of the "almighty legendary" Ithaca College. Goooooo Bombers.

I bet you there are guys on here that keep a log with 12 hour blocks when they can spite certain people.  I love it.

And I might be taking route "scary 7" from Williamstown.  Anyone ever been on that road?  It feels like you're driving on skijump ramps through those mountains.

zachattack22

That part of route 7 is crazy....ZA doesn't know about the breakfast places, but if anyone is in the area of Wolf Road not far from the Albany airport after the game, there's a Holiday Inn on Wolf Road....After 5pm at their Turf House Grill, every Saturday night, they have a prime rib buffet for around 18 bucks and it's beyond what you would expect....Prime rib is close to places of much higher calibre and it's ALL YOU CAN EAT...And if the little lady doesn't like prime rib, they have about 5 other entrees like turkey, ham, etc...and a desert bar that is filled with all kinds of weight gaining sweets....ZA just goes for the Prime Rib, thick cut...eats nothing else...Last time out, five servings of prime rib, defeating Zach's partner in crime who ate four....ZA's doctor would scream bloody murder!

Apple Jack

JU if you do take Rt 7 there is this little hole in the wall diner called Dunkins on your left hand side (if heading west) when you start rolling into the troy area (brunswick).  Wicked good food.  Looks like a little run down house yellow in color but they dont serve cake.

That is a serious post too

thanks....I might just take 90 though after doing some research.  But if I dont Ill look for it.

Route 7 from Williamstown is a horrible drive.  Done it twice probably 5-7 years ago, but from what bobby remembers, yes its like driving up skijump ramps, and don't get stuck behind a semi.  JU may never make it to Schenectady if U do.

Not up on my breakfast establishments, maybe someone from RPI can help out...

Honestly, aside from assessments of the games we've played, there's been very little post-game bashing on here.  Maybe this is something that is big over on E8 (yes, I did a search for "Rossi" and learned I'm a hated man over there).  If Union wins by a touchdown, historically, Union fans have come back here and said, "It was a well-played game by both teams."  OK, maybe the 7-0 Coast Guard win was an exception to that, but you know what I mean.

But this is why your assertions have gotten under my skin this week...we've pretty much stopped the overdone BS on this board this season.  We've kinda set aside a lot of our differences, except when the big rivalry game became in focus, to support the LL in general.

If ruffling feathers is what you're aiming to do here, then it's really not needed.  Thought-provoking debate (like JU's last night) has been plentiful here this year.  You haven't liked the taste of your own medicine I've given all week, so remember that.  I think everyone here would tell you that's out of character for me.
