Wow, a Liberty League thread dedicated to talk about football? Now this is interesting. Congratulations to the LL for a season of strengthening of the league from bottom to top, particularly the Upstate NY teams. After this season, it appears there will be a dogfight for the LL crown in coming years...Union, Hobart, RPI are all solid programs with UR and SLU on the rise.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a feeling this thread will get locked, as being redundant. However, I agree that the LL title will be even more competative, with most teams improving. Even Susquehenna will likely step it up, with the company of the league.

As if gorging yourself on turkey and "Beast" Lite wasn't enough to keep your interest this weekend...

Frank Rossi gets a chance to show that he's learned some color commentator skills this weekend, alongside Gordon Mann at the St. John Fisher at Springfield Second Round NCAA Playoff Game at Noon Saturday.  I believe the pregame show is at 11:45am (still getting details), but it should be a great matchup.  Having seen both teams against (and beat) Union this season, I have some insights (and plenty of stats in case the insights suck) ready to go.

This should be interesting (the game and the opportunity).  Tune in to D3Football.com's East Region Internet Radio Broadcast this weekend!
So, is this the next phase for the broadcast efforts of half the Union booth team? Is it true that you won't be back next season for Union Football broadcasts, as mentioned back some posts ago?

Congratulations to the Hobart Statesman not only for their performance on the field but for the sportsmanship and character they show.

Good luck to the graduating seniors and to those players returning to the field next year!
Especially the Senior Leadership. Gonna miss Sean Mizro next year!

True.  The Rev wishes Sean had another year or two left.
Hopefully his understudy has and will continue to work hard to fill his shoes.

I think Strom showed a lot of potential this year, especially his scrambling ability. Perhaps one of the younger recruits will supplement that, similar to what we saw this year in certain situations.

I just squated at the gym today for the first time in probably about 7 years.  Nothing serious, 2 sets of 6-8 reps each of 135, but I think Im going to feel it in the morning, real bad.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

relax francis.  So you beat an overatted Springfield team.  Beat a team that really counts and then start talking.

"Enjoy one more week of prcatice before you lose to SC...RT can't wait until that happens so he can hear your excuses then..."
