tags, i wasn't referring to you or upstate or even superman....but i should've clarified it because you gave me negative karma

Easy on the finger pointing Truth - I didn't touch the karma.

sorry about that. they can't get me on not spelling correctly - i was a yearly class spelling bee winner in elementary school but always choked on the big stage in front of the entire school.

I erased that - was a bit harsh. Congrats on the spelling bee wins... always a notch in the belt when you're the last to sit!

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Truth has been fairly diplomatic as of late. I think he's taking lessons from PG  :)

let's face it...the LL board is the hippest digs in D3.....

Using the phrase "hippest digs" does not really help your case!

I am a little discouraged that Fisher is being nit picked time & time again when all they've done so far this post season is go out and prove everyone completely wrong.

Tags, ask RPI fans about the scrutiny they encountered in 2002 when they went to the Final Four.  It comes with the territory.

Or just ask a Hobart fan everytime Hobart breaks into the D3 Top 25 or makes it to the playoffs.  All we hear from some (not all) circles is how the Statesmen are over-rated and don't deserve to be ranked or get a bid for the playoffs.

pick pick pcik

It comes with the territory.  Learn to ignore these guys tearing your team down and don't get into it.

Nowadays here on LL, fans of the three schools most represented here (Union, RPI, and Hobart) give each others' schools the props they deserve.  Sure, before the Shooz, U and RPI guys claimed each others' schools sucked, but that's good-natured ball-busting.

I think what happened is when you guys came on to the LL board last week or the week before, it appeared that you were gloating.  Gloating isn't taken well, even if you didn't mean it that way.

Generally, speaking, I think most LLPP members would prefer to see E8 beat NJAC, or are neutral.

One thing that we LL fans and schools are fighting is the stigma that LL is an easy league.  The Rev would like to see more E8/LL/NJAC inter-league play to prove that our alma maters are just as good and that our league is just as competative as yours.
Once again, the founder of the College on Seneca Lake has provided a glimpse into his brilliance!

Who to cheer for? Fisher, due to their location relative to Geneva, or Rowan, the team that beat Hobart closely? I am not really a fan of "well, our lost to a team that was runner-up to the national champion" nor we should support the remaining New York State team. So, how chooseth, when the two remaining East teams are non LL?

This is The Rev's dilemma.

Rev actually would be more inclined to root for SJF because of the Western NY connection.

Nonetheless, having seen Rowan in action, The Rev thinks Rowan will win.  The Rev is not claiming Rowan will have an easy win.

In fact, The Rev hopes it turns into a knock-down, drag-out, bar-room brawl, no-holds-barred cage death match like Little Big Horn with no one surviving but the damn horse, Comanche.
My leaning is for Fisher, just for someone new to crack into the final rounds. However, the level after this game, for either team, will be a quick wake up call.

I shudder to think what the dicussions will be here starting Saturday evening, no matter which non Liberty League team advances in the playoffs!

You're headed to the canadian side, the american side (in Niagara Falls) has a casino now - Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel!  Pretty nice - might want to check it out!  You're not going to get hockey smashed on the crappy exchange rates!!!

I don't know what math they are teaching you cats at SJF, however, when you place a bet, whether it be in US, Canada or indonesia and you have odds on your money, you get whatever that payout is.  That payback is the same wherever you are.....exchange rates don't matter.....
Unless of course a 1 million yen bet at 10:1 is worth less than a Euro bet at 10:1.

Reguladuh,

Keep your postings on such topics to yourself.  Unless you know what is being discussed then you can "intelligently" chime in!!

If you had a clue ..... (and I can't believe I'm even defending this posting)

1.  The canadian casino has a sports book - although as we in western NY know you are always playing w/ canadian monopoly currency.  Not much fun!!

2.  Casino's in NYS do not have sports books so go ahead and play with your yen, rubles or euro you won't win sh*#!!

3.  I was informing RT in case he was playing tables - typically 1:1 bets - and you have to worry about exchanging rates - why give your hard earned $$$ to another country?  Your choice though!!

Catch a late pass dude.

Please don't come across the middle cause I'll knock ya silly!!!

Let me retort.....and try to intelligently chime in.  If this isn't intelligent enough for you, please do not continue reading.

#1.  I think I do have a clue...I don't care if canadian casinos have sports books....I do not want to have to go to canada to make a bet.....

#2 Casinos in NYS may not have said sports books, however, Reg or RT could play at 100 different sports books anywhere, anytime, anyplace with the invention of of this wonderfull tool called the "wireless internet".  From which I can bet sports, tv shows, eating competitions, etc.

#3 Please explain to me this in more detail.....because where I am from works like this.....

-If I bet one dollar and the odds are 1:1 then I win 2 dollars

-If I cash in my one dollar for one canadian dollar or whatever the hell those people use over there....and get say 1.25 in canadian money....bet that 1:1, I win $2.50, in which I return to the US and exchange it back for $2 dollars US.

Do I not make sense?  Am I not intelligent?  Can you comprehend my logic...or are saying this thing we call "odds" are different in other parts of the world.

Have fun with your canadian monopoly money.

'gro

um... unless the exchange rate takes a big swing in a short period of time, there's nothing wrong with trading US for Canadian dollars. They don't charge you to exchange, unless you are dealing with some stoner at McDonalds.
