Gro's biznass trip in Atlanta is complete. Busted through a "2 hour" examination in about an hour. Aside from class from 8-5 everyday, the rest of the trip involved gro conditioning his liver for this weekend in South FLA.

Gro is ready for any shenanigans LD11 or Johnny Utah can come up with. Gro is ready to tailgate and watch some NFL football. Gro is ready to num-chuck the bejesus out of all hooligans and bystanders.

any predictions llpp for this weekend ....is it a weekend of upsets and some new blood for the championship?

I'm looking for a tight first half with a slight Mt. Union bias -- and then for Mt. Union to start to pull away in the second half once they make some adjustments based on SJF's defense...I'll go quarter-by-quarter:

1st Quater:  Mt. Union 10, SJF 7
2nd Quarter:  Mt. Union 17, SJF 13
3rd Quarter:  Mt. Union 27, SJF 16
4th Quarter:  Mt. Union 37, SJF 23

All things considered, if the score is in that range, it's really a tremendous effort by SJF -- It's not that I doubt SJF's efforts and abilities, but I just feel in my heart of hearts that Mt. Union got their wake-up call a week earlier.  If the Capital game didn't happen, I think it'd be closer, if not a SJF win.  Of course, let's remember my 21-20 Rowan prediction last week (caused by computer error where the computer forgot to multiply by 0 -- hey, I used the Brockport eligibility computer).

JT's gonna post his prediction here in the LL.  Too much ish going on over in the E8.  Last 30 pages are just... email, +karma, -karma, SJF played a tougher schedule that MUC, Time for me to go to bed, email, +karma, -karma, I'm really going to bed now, and one dood that spells it Saterday.

JT's pulling for the East rep and would be happy for an upset, but feels that SJF won't be able to stop every big weapon MUC has the entire day.

1st QTR:

SJF 7 - MUC 7

2nd QTR:

SJF 10 - MUC 17

3rd QTR:

SJF 10 - MUC 24

4th QTR:

SJF 17 - MUC 38

Do you wanna be considered for the ESPN Almanac prize, JT?

REMINDER:

Entries for the SJF/Mt. Union quarter-by-quarter score contest are due by midnight tonight (Friday 11:59pm EST) in the E8 Post Patterns Board.  Please do not go and edit your first post if you plan on changing your entry -- just re-post.  I have frozen the first 15 entries and have them down already.  Any new post you make will be found and will replace the prior entry.

Remember, you're guessing the quarter-by-quarter score, and the winner will be the person who had the least differential when the 8 scores (one for each team each quarter) are combined.  Tiebreaker will be proximity to the final score only.  All judges decisions are final.  Void in West Virginia and Tennessee.  For a full set of game rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

Frank,

It you are going to dig on RU, then the name should change to

c/o Rowan's Worst and not Finest.

Hey, wait a minute, I went to GSC.....whew, I'm okay since I didn't go to Rowan, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

Regulator

RE: dentists

So Reg goes to this really nice dentist in MClean, VA.  I drive over an hour to get there bc the guy does really nice work and if I ever really needed alot of work, I would want him doing it....
Anywhooo...he jsut got done remodeling his office with the works, including the nice surround sound system, lcd's televisions on the boom they pull in front of your face with the light on it and all this other crap.
So last week Reg chipped on of his back teeth...not really that big of a deal, but I still needed an overlay.
This is where it gets weird.  As I am sitting there watching Seinfeld on the 15" TV and this guy is drilling away, he starts watching it with me and reciting the lines....while he is drilling.  Dude, I'm not paying you $1300 to watch TV when you should be concentrating on your work....Ahhhh, I brushed it off as him having a bunch of new toys and he was getting used to his new diggs.
Fast forward 2 weeks when my new porcelin cap comes in....this time, I opt for no TV since it should be quick...cement the cap on and I'm off.
This time, as he is waiting for something to dry...I hear "click clack.click click"....dude are you freaking blackberrying someone while you are working on my teeth?!?! What the heck is going on here.
I like the guy and even though he has many new distractions in his office he does awesome work.

Just thought I would give the LLPP a chuckle.

Anyone been noticing a shortage of Apple Jacks on the board lately?

labart96

AJ must be hibernating for the winter.

Anyone check out the regional rankings?

Noted that the LL defensive player of the year was a 3rd team LB selection.  Made me wonder - is LB play that much better in the other eastern leagues?

Would have liked to have seen Evan Hoffman (1st team LL) on the All Region list.  Kid had a great season (lead bart in tackles, ton of huge plays including causing and recovering the fbl in the rowan game that gave bart a chance to win).

Garnet

Garnet just checked the standings in the LLPPFF for the first time in weeks.  Garnet can't figure out why his team (Stompville Suckers) is not in last place.
