Last time I checked, Mark Robinson was named first team academic all-american in 2004, and I can tell you for sure he made more than 900 on his SAT's

you get em pops!

Ok...let's stop this insanity. RT pulling executive privelige and stopping all Mark Robinson & SJF talk.. THIS IS UNION/RPI week. Take that weak shizz to the E8 board where someone in Spencerport, NY or someplace like that cares.

...also, is being voted first team academic all american at SJF doesn't floor me. Someone post Robinson's transcripts online. RT would like to see how his courseload compares to something at RPI that is like this
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Linear Algebra
- Differential Equations
- Operations Research
- Comp Sci

...you get RT's drift. RT is sure Robinson is good at marketing, history, accounting, etc...but RT compares a SJF academic all american to the head chef at Golden Corral saying he makes the best fried chicken in the world....admirable but not overly impressive since it's still Golden Corral and RT is in the league of Ruth's Chris, Legal Seafood, Morton's, etc.

Ok...that is all we expect to hear on Robinson and Fisher for the rest of this week.

Upstate - You forgot to mention the most critical stat of all....The SJF "Big Three" totaled 900 on their SAT's combined.

Last time I checked SJF wasnt a state school....

Upstate was in reference to you the poster upstate.  Not too much going on upstairs huh???

Dawg...please show support of RT and ignore all SJF related posts. They are further trying to gain respect and subliminally usurp the significance of RPI/UNION.  They may as well be a state school....

Rev, I was at the game and rooting as hard as I could for Union...... If that was Mizro playing poorly than I sure as heck do not want to see him play well! He was 31 for 47 for over 400 yards, great stats!

To me the difference in the game was 4 things:

#1- Union ran the ball a little better than Hobart did. (Union averaged 3.7 yds/carry to Hobarts 2.2)

#2- Union made the plays that mattered. Hobart had more plays, more yards, more 1st downs than Union did but when Union needed to make a play, they did.....and it sometimes came from unexpected places.

#3- Union protected their QB better than Hobart. Union had 5 sacks on the day and Hobart had only given up 3 all year. Mizro was under pressure on many of his pass attempts. Union gave up 1 sack.

#4- Union outhit Hobart. Especially in the 4th Quarter.

In hindsight I shouldn't be so hard on the kid.  He is a great QB, but of the ten games I've seen him play this was not his best.  Statistically I think it appeared better than it actually was in the context of the game.  So allow me to soften up any criticism of Mizro.

As you noted in #3, Union had five sacks on the poor kid.  I'm still steamed at the O-line.  Perhaps I should change what I said about Mizro not playing well.  He played well, but there was only so much he could do without protection.

In regard to #2: TRUE.  Very true.

I think the moral of the story is that one team wanted to win more than they wanted to live, so they played their hearts out.  That team was Union.  I hope the Union vs. RPI game has both teams tearing each others guts out.  Like I said, I enjoy a car wreck.  Bodies strewn about.  Blood and gore.  If the Union/RPI game has that, a good time will be had by all.

By the way, that was my first time at Union since 1993 or before.  Nice place.  The turf was beautiful.  I was on my feet the whole game, but the grass was so soft I never noticed.

Man!  This board is on fire right now!  More so then Krazy Krazy's underwears today.  Those things were crying for the fire extinguisher!

Looking forward to the game this weekend.  Playa Hata Reunion was an extreme success but brain activity is still extremely limited so I can not divulge anything further regarding the activities of the RPI Hate Crew.  However, this  coming weekend will be another opportunity for our forces to gather and become one.

Mr. Enginegro, who happens to currently be passed out on my couch, is the only member of this weekend's festivities to not be making the trip to his hometown of Schenectady.  I am starting a petition for him to change his mind and be a team playa.

LD11 thinks Audino could talk himself into eating a fried donkey poop sandwich if he sold them for a living.  Clown.  Is that cool Zach?

RT has 2 solid hours of posting ahead of him right now..."The Crusades" is premiering on the History Channel from 9-11 and so far, RT is giving it 2 thumbs up....RT would give it 3 thumbs up but RT is not a student in the E8

Or RT is not Bus Driver. Bus Driver could give 3 thumbs up (reference botched operation in Sweden).

Dawg: the guys in my office will be happy to hear you are "sick" all week.Ready for the RPI/Union game.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

'gro

Gro silenced during Union week? Nah Nah...  Gro's still keeping it gansta in NC the rest of the week with a work conference in Asheboro (in case anyone cares about Gro's whereabouts).

Gro apologizes in advance for not being in attendance for the shoes game. Gro is working on a replacement schenectadian with his twin brother (aka LawyerGro) heading up the list.

Either way, the gloves are off... Gro's hatred for Union runs deep. If union fans think the lopsided series record means anything on saturday they will be dissapointed. That is a good start to my ish talking hope to post more the rest of the week.

.........FLASH...........FLASH.....'Dawg and 'Nott caught by hidden camera training for RPI/UNION week.........

RT is taking deep breaths, reaching deep inside himself to think about his approach to posting for this week. RT recognizes the responsibility that comest with RPI/UNION week posting, especially since never before has the game had so much black-and-white ramifications for postseason.

RT will be secretly consulting with 'Dawg via backchannel methods to address the "work" question this week and how RT can offload as much of his professional responsibilities as possible this week.

RT has already begun to take steps to prepare his boss for a week of professional disintrest and absenteeism during RPI/Union week. RPI will be replacing the usual wall decorations and assorted trinkets of his office with several pieces designed to desensitize said boss to RT's behaviors...

....and RT's favorite...

RT can't give it three thumbs up because one is up his rear.  Watching the crusades and thumbing the salad is what he does.  E* people only have two thumbs but Cortland kids have three, sadly enough, steroid incedents
