HS coach charged for allegedly hitting students in groin

What's the capital of Thailand?

The coach must be an American Pie fan.  Does he think he's Stiffler?

PBR...

pain builds character....aint got time to bleed

that coach certainly must subscribe to the "rub some dirt on it" mentality.

Did anyone see when Tony Gwynn gave the press conf saying that he was in the Hall of Fame?  Man he looked like he wasn't pushing away to many meals!!

And this pic is from 2000...

The Truth 00

speaking of tony, get this: he had over 300 stolen bases and there's been no one with a higher career batting average since ted williams. he goes into the hall with a lifetime .338 batting average...only ted was higher in the post war era and the previous 33 were before ty cobb. gwynn must love his twinkies.

JT saw the Gywnnster at the press conference.  At the rate he's going, a twinkie will have a longer shelf life.  Some professor has had one in his classroom for 30 years, and except for being slightly stale, the twinkie is still edible.

Twinkies, ring dings, and ho-ho's (because they came in a three pack for the same price as the yoodles two pack) were staples in lil' JT's scooby doo lunch box back in the day.

JT, it's the offseason.  My mind is too fried to try to consider the reverse statistics you've espoused here.  My initial thought was that your post was discussing that Gwynn might kick at any minute...however, you're apparently giving him at least 30 years...so confused.

'Gro, help me...please!

alright which one of the llpp'rs was in florida...

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 10  -- A self-confessed beer addict is in jail in
Orlando, Fla., after hammering his way through a concrete wall into a food
store cooler for some cold brew.
Police say the thief tunneled into Young's Food Market early Wednesday and used a hammer and tried to get into a large cooler.
The store owner, who lives above the market, called police after hearing the
commotion, WKMG-TV, Orlando, reported. The thief made a run for it but was nabbed by a police dog.
Sweaty and thirsty, the suspect was treated at a hospital for a dog bite.

Good trailer - bad movie.  Look at your line up:

Alicia Keys - hot, can't act
Queen Latifah - not hot, can't act
Ray L - hasn't been in a good movie since Goodfellas
Ryan Reynolds - funny, but he's still either the "Two Guys and a Pizza Place" and/or "Blade Trinity" material.  Sorry, he's not the next "Action Hero"
Ari from Entourage - great actor - can't see him pulling off the gambler every one wants to kill
Rest of the bounty hunters - who dat?

Nah - not a good movie - good trailer.

Got the Vegas deal - most people dig the Vegas.

Got the action - most people dig the action.

Don't got the characters (and actors) to pull it off.

Last TGP checked a 66% was a D - maybe a D+ (and given the curve most h'wood movies are on maybe it's a c-/c+ movie at best).

Ok, maybe it gets a C b/c there's some "whoot whoot" hip hop on the soundtrack.

Re: bank of america

a while back everyone slammed BoA while gro defended it... the other day gro was doing some TV shopping. Played around at best buy and CC, found what he liked, and purchased it off amazon.com (saving a ton of $$, much less than BB/CC plus free shipping and no sales tax).  The next day gro's check card is DENIED. Luckily, it was at the gas pump, so not so embarassing. BoA sends an email saying "irregular checkcard activity, please call".

Here's where the problem starts... 1st off is having to deal with the computer asking what choices I want. There is no choice for "card deactivated". Every time I get a rep, they transfer me to another.
Your account was created in Florida? let me transfer you
This is your check card? let me transfer you
I'm new, let me transfer you

AAAAAH!! it took about 30min to find the right person to hit a few keystrokes to get my card turned on.  You made a powerful enemy today BoA.
