He wanted Garret to take over as head coach next year after one more year of parcells...but parcells had to b*tch out...apparently Parcells owns a house in Saratoga...not exactly sure where it is...but my uncle represented the people who owned it before parcells... The paper said he's moving up here to be near his family

Parcells house is by Lake Lonely, which is a small lake that sits parallel to Saratoga Lake....roughly 2 klicks from RT's Saratoga house

Heading back to football for a minute...

Was just looking at Union's 2007 schedule, and it's an interesting one.  Yes, it's much like the last couple years, but I think it's an appropriate schedule for a team experiencing a "rebuilding year" like the Dutchmen likely will be.  Here's my commentary next to each game:

11/3/2007 Hobart -- For three straight years, this game has had some sort of Liberty League Championship implications hanging over it...will it be four in a row?  My gut says yes, but only for one of the teams.  Hobart tends to front-load its Liberty League schedule in a way similar to Union -- if it can beat RPI, it should have no trouble maintaining a something-and-oh or something-and-one record coming into this game.  However, both teams are missing key parts, assuming Mizro doesn't come back for his 18th season of eligibility next year (couldn't resist).  This will be a close game, and currently, I'd say Hobart comes in as a slight favorite...with a good chance of an upset.

Interesting projections from Mr. Rossi regarding Union's 07-08 season.   Side Line Sally wonders what Mr. Rossi meant by "Mizro's 18th season of eligibility next year (couldn't resist)" ????

I've been calling Union games for 12 seasons...and I swear Mizro has been under center for Hobart for all of them :-)

Mizro played as long as RT seemed to play back in the early 90's. Hey, anyone remember a guy from Buff St named Tracey Bacon? He played for what seemed to be 9 years.

Oh I remember him.  He was a good player along with Perez Dinkins, who is still the best running back (besides Kevin Galliard) that I ever saw playing and watching d3/d2 football.  (including current and recent players)

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

KS just had a fun evening.  KS spent the last couple of hours in the emergency room getting a abcessed sebacious cyst lanced and the pus squeezed out.  KS now has vicodins, KS will be happy soon.

KS,
Why does all the ****ty luck find you? First the KS-mobile, then the job, now a frickin' infected cyst!

+k to KS and the usual suspects in hopes of a quick recovery for KS as KR begins his surgery rotation tomorrow.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Looking back at it, losing that job was one of the best things that has happened to KS.  It just sucked at the time, new job is great, more pay, good people to work with and plenty of work with a growing company.

Re: Superbowl

this is by far the most important game of your life. Now gro can see most players going out in south beach last night and tonight... but after that would you even set foot outside of the hotel the 2-3 nights before the game?

right on gro...unless you were mike irvin then you would invite the girls back to your hotel room and have the boyz make a special delivery and heck he could use his tie knot since its as wide as a mirror to cut up some lines for everyone....

JT could see going out for dinner with teammates just to ease the tension, but true partying would be out.  Plenty of time after the game.
