pbr wants a dvc(another pa school) vs. 'bart showdown....that way if tgp wants he  can wing into town and we can take in the game

If it's anything like the last time DVC and Bart squared off (in the NCAAs), TGP would love to be there.  That last game was a classic (even though Bart lost).

absolutely dvc has had 2 classics with bart and stjf would like to see them play the LL in a ooc but pbr doesnt think it will happen the way playoff system is set up now....pbr is not even sure how the mac is going to shape up next season right now....lots of rumblings on what is going to happen with the league

That dude should have been taken out of the arena in handcuffs.
Why didn't that happen?

I agree - they need to do that or someone is going to die on the ice.

It wasn't even legitimate retaliation...it was a clean, legal hit.  Hollweg is actually lucky it caught his chin and not his throat or teeth.  A couple a stiches is the best that could have happened with that hit.

'gro

sad and funny that no one came over to Hollweg as he was on the ice everyone on the rangers bench was too busy trying to punch the other guy.

dood was way lucky he didn't take a stick to the throat

Touchdown Tommy

Eerily similar to old time cheap shot artist Marty McSorley's hit to Donald Brashear and Todd Bertuzzi's smack on Steve (forgot his last name, small forward for the Avs)...NHL is a dying league, Bettman has run it into the ground.  Still by far TDT's favorite sport to watch IN PERSON, but not too sweet on TV unless it is in High Def.

RE: Sonic

You cats ever been to Sonic Drive-In??  TDT just tried that for lunch today (brand new location here in Naples) and it was top notch tasty.  I believe it is a chain based outta someplace in the Southeast US.  Thumbs Up from TDT.

That was a good, clean hit by Hollweg.  That is the kind of acceptable violence that is part of the game.
Simon is a big vagiussy if he can't hack getting popped against the boards in ral game play and has to resort to cheap shots.  That is unacceptable violence that does not belong in the game.

Back in The Rev brief career as a lacrosse assistant coach, The Rev would ask his defensive players, "How can you be proud of knocking a guy on his can with a cheap shot?  the fact that you take a cheap shot means you suck and have to resort to cheating. That's nothing to be proud of...."

"On the other hand," continued the Rev, "If you take a guy off his feet legally, you're a stud."

The head coach did not like The Rev because Rev wanted windsprints while the head coach wanted to be their buddy.  Rev told head coach that team will not win without wind and legs and with a coach who wants to be their buddy.  Rev was out of a coaching job the next day.

You can't drive more than two blocks in Arizona without running into a Sonic burger.

The Rev is stoked because they just opened a new In-and-Out Burger about 5 miles down the road.

(In AZ, five miles is nothing.  It's not like in CNY where five miles takes you out of Norwich and lands you half way between Norwich and New Berlin.

That's worth me coming out of retirement...

D'Angelo's is horrible.  That's the worst advice i've ever heard.  You might as well tell the guy to stop at Domino's as it makes your Little Ceasar's look like amateur hour.  Come on now.

Regulator

OH NO HE DIDN'T!!!!!!!

HAHAHA ..... Amature Hour

Funny I was actually a big D'Angelo's fan. (haven't been to one in a few years) but I think with a lot of these places its about the management.  For instance....

Around me there is this higway with all the restuarant/pub chains, and some of the management at these places is horrible.  Here is my list of the Dedham/Norwood/Walpole MA best fast food places.

Chilis.  The beer is always cold and the food is always fresh.  Bar isnt always the cleanest but the draft beer is COLD.  Chicken Crispers are fansastic.
Grade: A-

Outback.  I think their steaks are fantastic and the apps are great too.  Sometimes a little too crowded at the bar but best food of all the chains.
Grade: A-

Pizzeria Uno.- Trivia games, ususally great draft beer and the deep dish pizza is pretty good.  Even the philly cheesesteak isnt bad.
Grade: B+

TJIFridays- Off and On.  Sometimes the food is ok and other times its crap.  Good bar though but not worth it for me
Grade C+

99- Too crowded at the bar, beer is usually good but the food is average.  Ive found other 99s to be better than the one in Walpole.
Grade- C

Bugaboo Creek- Waitstaff is horrible, food is usually good but one time I ordered a desert and it had onions in it.  Im just not a big fan of that place for some reason
Grade: C

American Joe's- Dont know if they have these places around the country but it (was owned) by the same company that ran Charlies, Capital Grille and Longhorn steakhouse.  This place sucks.  Last 3 times I went there the food was horrible.  And then I had a coffee and the smart ass waiter tried to pour it from like 5 feet above the table and spilled coffee all over my hand.  Hate it.
Grade: D

Applebees-  The Applebees in Dedham, MA is the most horrible restuarant in America.  The food is plastic and half cold/half warm the 3 times I went there.  Bar was dirty and the whole place made me sick.
Grade:D-

Sir Spiedie

No 99, Bugaboo Creek,  American Joes, or D'Angelos in this part of Fla.
Ruby Tuesdays is pretty good, but IMHO all of these places tend to be grossly overpriced.
Beef O'Brady's in your neck of the woods?
How about Hooters?
