Yeah man!!!  It's right next to Stewarts on Erie Blvd.  Great pancakes though!!!!   They don't call it "Dirty Mikes" for nothin'!!!!!  Glad you didn't make a trip into there though b/c you might have walked out with 6 fingers on your left hand or something.

My friend went in there to use the john, and was like, "dude, don't go in there."  LOL

Sent you a personal message gobombers.

Baez sure stepped up this year.  With all the Donavan love at the end of last year, he could have been the forgetten man... but he certainly didn't let that happen.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Bernardo had 160 rushing yards and Branche 102 receiving....Robertson with 243 yards passing and RPI's total offense was 394...

This makes ZA believe that it's not a case of defenses being that bad, but offenses being that explosive this year...

It's almost like 400yards of offense isn't that big a deal anymore and that's a lot of yards!!!

Johny-  You must have been near our side of the field, regarding the angry Union fans.  Didn't seem like they were used to vocal fans from the away teams. A man near his fifties challenged us to a fight after the game!

We tried to stay positive and vocal throughout.  I'll take those guys on the Union D taunting us as a compliment.

Well heres what happened.  You guys would do your "what do we have.............A first down!!!" chant,  and I admit, there were a lot of first downs for Ithaca throughout the game.  These two Union guys in front of me were so pissed.  They started shouting "go cortland!"  Or they would say the same thing you guys would say when Union got a first down.  Very unoriginal.  Then this drunk chick wearing a union jersey started dropping f-bombs all over the place.  It was great.

then they announced that sjf was beating rpi and 75% of the union crowd yelled out "yeaa!!!!"  then the other 25% told the 75% that sjf is in ithacas league and that they should be routing for rpi, because the ithaca people were cheering for sjf.

then after ithaca went up 29-21 or whatever, one of the union guys goes. "Union's defense sucks.....Hudson Valley community college could beat them.  His friend goes "oh yea, easily.  Hudson valley would win by 30"

then the union players do this thing with their hands where they put their thumbs together and stick their hands up to form a "U".  I didn't really get it.

The go cortland cheers got me the most though, but you guys got the worst out of those union fans.  very funny.

ZA can't speak for every fan, but personally had some great conversations with plenty of Ithaca fans and parents.  Met some great people.

As usual, majority of people have a great time and then...there's those special few!!!  That just can't handle it....The way ZA sees it...if a visiting team's cheering section can make more noise than the home crowd...then shame on the home crowd!!!

whats with the ll teams sending the visitors to the hockey rink? (st lawrence, Union)  does hobart still send the visitors team to the smallest room in geneva county?

Can RPI get another game next week? RT not ready to pack up the equipment just yet...

Touchdown Tommy

RT,

The Bus believes SJU would play RPI on Christmas eve in Collegeville to rekindle old memories (you know following the SJU trip to Salem for the hardware).  Can RT arrange a charter flight for the Engineers?
Chasing MILFs since '82...

zachattack22

RT, can't blame you....It's got to feel like they still should be playing...8 and 2 is a season most teams would die for...You gotta be proud!  ZA said all year that RPI makes the best half time adjustments and plays with the most consistency.  They never really had any "up and down" performances.

You and other RPI posters also deserve a lot of credit for making the LL PP a great place to hang out!

Str8Gangsta

Str8Gangsta did not go to Mr. Roger's neighborhood.  Str8Gangsta dutifully had a mustard packet in hand.  Sort of a baketball game, no.  Str8Gangsta subscribes to the theory that defense wins.  He is also ranked #1 in his fantasy football league -- relying on offense of course.  Perhaps next year D3Football.com may sponsor a fantasy league for our ssorry asses?

Can it be an all star alumni game? RT would like to participate himself and so would some of the other RPI alumni. RT would like to line up against the Johnnies himself and we'll get the travel arrangements ironed out.

RT has been watching GT knock off Miami tonight....and if Fresno knocks off USC, RT would have a great day all around with both RPI and ND winning!!

Just a side note but the LL wins today were huge and they could and hopefully will be a major factor in voter decisions to choose the LL over other E8 & other conference's teams regarding NCAA playoff bids going into next season & beyond.  Great job today LL!!!!

All RT is asking for is the respect the LL deserves....RT wishes he could pull together a "smack talking greatest hits summary of LL-dissing comments by the E8". RT believes that the LL has to be one of the better conferences in the country this year..how can anyone question that?

gobombers

RT (as well as the other folks), how do you see the top 5 shaking out in the Coaches Poll right now (with a USC loss)?  I know USC is a long ways out from losing, but you never know.

Texas
LSU
Penn State
ND/Va Tech?
USC

OMG, imagine if LSU would lose an SEC title game to Georgia?  Penn State in the National Championship game?????

As an ND fan, our only chances lie in these Championship games, and hoping all the top teams lose.

- FL St over Va Tech
- Georgia over LSU
- whomever over Texas (yeah, Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight), but then again, Texas coaching has been known to let them down in the past.

That would leave Penn State vs ND!  One can only hope.

d1 football stinks.....what happened today is what its all about.  Good win by BC though.  NC threw em off

I dunno, Union better hope that Ithaca and RPI have the top 2 offenses in the country (which probably isnt far from the truth) because a team like Linfield might beat Ithaca 80-35 and beat Union 70-42.  The LL is better than the E8 this year, they proved it.  Would have been nice if Alfred had played hobart though.  Lets get some public schools on those nonleague schedules now too.
