I thought these "marathon" runners like it cold.  I guess I don't really know as the farthest I run is to the fridge for another cold Miller Lite or some leftover pizza...

Sumander: Have u ever been to the Boston Marathon/in Boston for Patriot's Day?  It is quite an experience...

Crowd looks very thin at Fenway today, but not "bone chilling" cold.

Mr. Prez, Never been, heard tell it's a spectacle though!
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Hard to joke around on a day like this. We live in a violent world.

I guess it always has been, though.

This is like the college version of Columbine.

On a lighter note, Hobart's SID released the following announcement re: the captains for the 2007 season.

http://www.hws.edu/athletics/hobart/showrelease.asp?id=3796

Strom is from out here in CA (Novato - which is just north of SF).

Aruck (DT)  and Sanders (OLB), local Upstaters, have had significantly more PT (Sanders was a capt in 06 as well) over the past couple of seasons.

On that note......How does the LLPP think having a good or "bad" captain affect a season?
Are there any players out there that believe that a good or bad captain helped or hurt their season?

I could see him throwing pizza if the Red Sox were in the field, and the other fan interfered with the Sox player catching the foul ball for an out.  But, the dude saved the Red Sox batter from being out.

thats what I didn't get when I saw the clip on PTI.  This wasn't a Bartman type move.  It helped their team.... must have just been hammered b/c of Patriots Day.

Maybe the pizza thrower actually missed and he was aiming at the Angel's Fielder...

The pizza thrower was probably just a drunken Bostonian who thought it was a repeat of the cubs nightmare from a couple years ago.  He probably thought he would be famous or something.

Headlines in his jail cell read: "Idiot locked up for throwing a piece of pizza for a play that actually helped the sox"

too bad the guy didn't even notice the pizza until later... if he was still in the moment he might have beat that doods azz.
