FYI - rediculas is how it is spelled on this board.  It's done purposefully.  Get a late pass losers.

Jeesssss, LD thanks fror 'straightening these two out', Daniel Baldwin style......
Beware of low flying planes....

On to something more important......after all the trading, I think the Pats have like 1,728 draft picks over the next 2 years.

KS is trying to figure out what was going on with the Dolphins.  Ted Ginn Jr. with the 9th pick?  Passing on Brady Quinn I could understand, but Ginn, KS would rather they have picked Okoye if they weren't taking Quinn the D needs to get younger and soon.  Baffiling I tells you.

Given all the auditioning starting QB's after Dan the Man, you'd think the Fins gotta nab Brady to try a get a franchise QB's. He'd watch/learn from Green for a couple of years.  Trade Culpepper to the Radahs.... Bingo!  This personnel stuff is so easy in rounds 1 and 2.  The real money players make there bones drafting 3-7, that is where the value picks are.

Not taking Brady reminds JT of.... of.... Oh when the Jets took Ken O'Brien over Marino in 1983.

Knightstalker

If the fins take Quinn they still had a good chance at Ginn with the 40th pick.

The Raduhs made some nice moves, I would keep Moss if I was them.  Al Davis is building his kind of team again, now for some O line help today.

They need a running back if they're ever going to be able to use Moss - Lamont Jordan will never be able to get the job done.

In regards to the fins, Nick Saban didn't exactly set the table before he left ... who takes Culpepper only to start Joey Harrington most of the year? Yikes. Personally, Tags would take a Donte Culpepper on one leg over a healthy Joey Harrington.

Dood, did you even read his posts about 'blazing speed'?  Not sure where his 'facts' were in stating that no one did or ever will have blazing speed in the NESCAC conf.  The statements he made deserved the 'bashing' received.

Negative. Frank has seen more NESCAC games than this entire board combined -- and that's even if you played for Union during their NESCAC membership, 89. He's seen more NFL prospects than any of you can count and he knows his stuff.

Just because nobody in here (with the possible exception of JT) will ever make the posting Hall of Fame doesn't mean that you get to hate on the HOFers.

Hey listen, I wasn't hating on anyone....did I attack him anywhere??  Pat, are you looking to compare football careers with me??  No reason for you to attack me.  All I said was that the statements he made about blazing speed were rediculas.....you jumping in to defend me questioning his statements is equally rediculas.

By the way.....I have no respect for your HOF....nor do I care if I ever become a member....I never made a statement about his 'honor'!!!

Pat, remember what Jim Irsay said about Mel Kiper??

Admittedly Tags is coming in exceedingly late here so don't jump down my throat too bad, but... Is it strictly off limits to question anything Frank says? Tags did so last year & got torn up about it, doesn't make sense to me - Tags is of the opinion that a little debate never hurt anyone. Plus, it keeps people interested in this board.

wow Frank knows soooo much about football that the rest of our collective intellegence wouldn't even compare. He would destroys us in football jeopardy.

Little known fact: In the early script version of Ghostbusters.. The part where Gozar asked the ghostbusters to choose the form of what will come and destroy new york city, instead of the stay puft marshmallow man, it was originally written for Frank Uible to terrorize NYC.  True story.

I know alot about football, and if it weren't for my location in the D3 no mans land (2 schools within 2 hours drive) I'd be just as "smart" as Frankie U.  But don't take that from me, Frank shares the same philosophy...

I wouldn't say it's off limits at all.

Calling him a douche, and then the posse ganging up on him, which is what started this all, should be considered off limits.

BTW, you should know I do not conform to the board's peculiar abuse of grammar. Shocker.

I already responded to this post once. Guess you missed my original response.

This is what I objected to.

Still don't understand.....I didn't agree with Franks statement.  Does everyone have to agree with you in your web world??  Didn't call him names or do anything except disagree......talk about hypersensitive!!

Hope it sinks in this time.

Pat Coleman

You said he deserved the bashing. That's not the same as disagreeing. Is that a hard concept to understand?

Saying you have to run faster than a 4.3 to have 'blazing' speed in football deserves a bashing.  That is poor football knowledge.  It's not even debatable.  It's borderline retarded.
