What's the over/under for E8 posters to start coming up with excuses about the LL smacking them around?  Think they will wait until next pre-season?

Wasn't SJF ranked in the top 10 at some point this year?  Isn't Ithaca the best team ever to step foot on the field?

So I went to the Patriots game at Gillette yesterday, and weird enough to say, it was my first NFL game.  Sundays for me usually revolve around laying on the couch, and ordering multiple times from the same Chinese menu, butnot  yesterday.  WTFF got me tickets to the game and let me tell ya, I never before realized how big of meatheads football fans are.  Basically, it was about a 40:1 Guy:Girl ratio, and these weren't just a bunch of dudes going toa football game.  Most of these guys were acting like they have never been out of the house.  Mostly Overweight.  Facial Hair Land worse than the caveman era.  Painted faces.  Mo-hawks.  Team Jerseys galore.  NFL leather jackets.  And while half of them thought they knew everything about football, they were dopey.  Any girl who walked by, and many times WTFF, got whistled at or chirped at by some scum bag.  I saw some guy puking in the bathroom.  People stumbling all over.  I just didn't realize how bombed people get on Sundays at NFL games I guess.

So while the experience was amazing, I would like to stick with my guns, and order 3 orders of Crab Rangoons and General Tsao's Chicken at both noon and 3:45 next Sunday.

Just to inform you AJ was 14 for 16 on the weekend pickem bracket.  Though nothing to write home about, seeming that he did it in two second with little to no research he was impressed with himself.

Frank the tank...whats the link to your web cast again.  AJ would love to come to the game at FB field on saturday to throw some verbal tomfollery at the strange cast of characters that loyaly follow Rowan all over the country but he will be in Colorado.  So when I'm rolling out of some CU freshman ladies bed I want to know what site to go to so I can follow the LL action.

Lets set up an all LL final, but always remeber the E'aint is always going to rule....

LD... Methinks that the scumbagery you witnessed yesterday had less to do with NFL fans in general and more to do with you being surrounded by 70,000 massholes.

The only problem Gro had in his NFL experiences are fans who wear jerseys from players cut/traded/left years ago. They are NOT throwbacks if the guy is still playing! (for example, Gro saw the Bucs play in '03 and counted about 549 W. Dunn Jerseys)

no but seriously, NNR created a very disgustingly high in fat dinner that is amazing for anyone who isn't watching you weight...try it...unbelievable...

1 lb bacon
1 lb of chicken cutlets seasoned with montreal chicken seasoning
red ciyan pepper
heavy cream
sharp cheddar

cook a pound a bacon... take bacon out, throw in a lbs of small cut chicken cutlets that are seasoned... cook chicken in the bacon fat... add bacon back after chicken is cooked... put a lot of pepper in, as desired for spice... put heavy cream in and stir a lot.... add half a bag of sharp cheddar...

throw over rigatoni for an incredible pasta dish

Ok now don't smite me right away, but did anyone ever see Unions football helmets up close?  You cant really tell from high up in the stands but the helmets (shutt I believe?) are really high up in the back of the neck, making the necks look really long and funny.  I kind of thought it made the whole team look small, kind of oompa loompa like up close.

Rolevio is still standing strong with 14 of 16 after the first week though both losses came from the South bracket.  That could hurt.  Though Rolevio thinks picking 50% upsets from week 2 on will hurt more.
