Union89,
Its cool. JT would like to expand his boundaries and catch a LL and/or an E8 game.

JT: Go west, young man! Take in Ithaca or Fisher at Alfred next year. Easy drive from Jersey. Believe it or not, I can get to the George Washington Bridge in 4.5 hours (without the wife in the car) via I-86 to I-81 (Binghamton) to I-380 to I-80. Alfred is 6 miles off I-86 Exit 33...just when you think you're lost, you'll find Alfred.

No McDonalds here. A small friendly one-traffic-light "Mayberry RFD" town in the Allegheny Foothills. We've got Chinese, Japanese, Italian, a bar & grill w/Southern style BBQ, American diner (Collegiate), sub & pizza shop, DP Dough (calzones) and prime rib/steaks/seafood in nearby Almond.

Incidentally, Alfred actually played (and beat) your Rowan team back when it was still Glassboro State. Probably late 80s or early 90s. AU Media Guide isn't handy or I'd look it up.

Go AU!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Earth to Dutchman77; Come in 77!! answer to your DD question:

RU's run defense is top 5 in the NCAA stats listed on the site.  I'm surprised they gave up the amount of yardage(29-138) on the ground last week.  However, they compensated by allowing 74 yards in the air.

If the O-line does not protect your QB this week he may be running more than anyone on the team.  Wilkes QB was sacked 11 times in the game.  Then again, they were behind by three td's halfway through the 1st Q.!! :-\

[li]Anybody else think the Pumpkin heads have a good shot to take down Delaware Valley?[/li]

I'll go on record as saying I think the Pumpkin heads DO have a shot at taking down Delaware Valley...if they keep their pumpkin heads together rather than carve each other up at the game's first adversity. Go 'bart!

Union should have thrown the RPI game... let all 3 LL teams in the dance... it's only FAIR. selfish kids and their 10-0 season.

ZA believes Hobart can beat Del Valley...Why?  Don't know why!!!

Just don't think Del Valley is a "power house", just another very good team and that's what Hobart is...A very good team...So, the game is up for grabs!

Del Valley's QB sure has some history and some stats there...

Gro used to work 3rd shift... getting out at 8am Gro could throw down on some McDonalds breakfast... that stuff is bad for you, can I sue?

Only if u spill hot coffee on your package and just sit there and let it soak into your skin, Gro.  (it's a torts case every first-year law school student is taught - woman mopped up a couple mil on that).

RT, ZA did some thinking today about dieting and appearance and decided to go to the big and tall store which for me is more like the big and not so tall store and bought clothes that were too big for ZA....

Wow, what a great result!  Everyone ZA ran into saw his baggy clothes and commented the exact same way...."Wow, you really lost some weight!"

ZA figures this is good because with winter coming, and no need for T shirts and shorts...heck, might be able to fool people all winter!

Works especially well if you purchase a sport coat and slacks that are oversized.

People really believe you lost weight and haven't yet purchased clothes that fit.

This probably isn't good because the temptation is to never diet again...Just buy suits that do not fit correctly!!!

There is NOT A DOUBT in my mind that Hobart can beat Delaware Valley Saturday.  I'm going out on a limb and predicting a Monkey Stomp.

Gro:

I worked at Burger King when I was 15.   Seeing some of that stuff in mass quantity changes you forever.

"No, that's okay, I think I'll pass on a breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns."

Knightstalker

After the Atkins diet, Knightstalker tried that route.  You end up outgrowing the big clothes and have to buy more big and tall clothes and those stores rip you off.  Maybe ZA should shop at Jean Claude.

RT is in a "clothing transitional stage"

When RT finished playing OL at RPI in 2004, RT was about 285lbs. RT was in grad school at the time and had only night classes....so RT was able to maintain a rigorous workout and diet schedule that got RT down to about 230 in a few months. RT was sporting the 36" waist at 230...RT kept the 36" waist until he pushed up above the 235 number and was able to maintain 38" waist between 235-245ish. RT now into the 40" comfort zone as we're hovering around 260....this is the high water mark. RT never has owned pants above 40" and doesn't plan on getting there.

Stat of the Day:
- RT at 235lbs stands 6'3" and can sport a 36" waist and 32" length....odd measurements that make RT feel he's built like a Hobbit.

When the gut sticks out farther than the chest, RT knows it's time to push the panic button.

FYI... the best thing to eat at Roy Rogers is the roast beef sandwich. Best thing in the joint.

JT used to make the fried chicken and biscuits as a teen.  JT thought he was being conscientious when throwing out the occasional fried piece that hit the ground upon racking out of the fryer.  A full rack was two full chickens.  Anything short of that and JT got yelled at by the front manager.  Eventually JT learned to rack those pieces that hit the floor.

Eat up campers!  ;)

Rolevio has never had a fresh burger at Roy Rogers.  Once while working at McD's Rolevio witnessed another crew member putting in a chicken MCNugget in a box that wasnt cooked and had been under the table for several hours to the point it was so dirty it looked like it was cooked.
