RU's run defense is top 5 in the NCAA stats listed on the site.  I'm surprised they gave up the amount of yardage(29-138) on the ground last week.  However, they compensated by allowing 74 yards in the air.

If the O-line does not protect your QB this week he may be running more than anyone on the team.  Wilkes QB was sacked 11 times in the game.  Then again, they were behind by three td's halfway through the 1st Q.!!

But then again, that was Wilkes.

PS - Steve Somers tends to be on in the late evening (7 - 12 PM) depending on game broadcast.  Late Night used to be produced by D3's own Ray Martel, though now he's moving up in the world.

Chris Carlin, also known as the "Continent", was Mike & The Mad Dog's Producer, and still works for the FAn. He also does Rutgers Football. Chris is a Hobart grad, and used to do PBP on WEOS when he was a student.

Its cool. JT would like to expand his boundaries and catch a LL and/or an E8 game.

JT: Go west, young man! Take in Ithaca or Fisher at Alfred next year. Easy drive from Jersey. Believe it or not, I can get to the George Washington Bridge in 4.5 hours (without the wife in the car) via I-86 to I-81 (Binghamton) to I-380 to I-80. Alfred is 6 miles off I-86 Exit 33...just when you think you're lost, you'll find Alfred.

No McDonalds here. A small friendly one-traffic-light "Mayberry RFD" town in the Allegheny Foothills. We've got Chinese, Japanese, Italian, a bar & grill w/Southern style BBQ, American diner (Collegiate), sub & pizza shop, DP Dough (calzones) and prime rib/steaks/seafood in nearby Almond.

Incidentally, Alfred actually played (and beat) your Rowan team back when it was still Glassboro State. Probably late 80s or early 90s. AU Media Guide isn't handy or I'd look it up.

UNION 82 would have liked to watch LL RPI beat E-8 St. John Fisher. As fate would have it, UNION 82 watched LL Union beat E-8 Ithaca instead.

At least Alfred beat Maine-Maritime.
