RT,

when are you planning to hit up the track...anyother LLPP intrested in heading up to Saratoga and playing the pony's

RT is missing opening day (Wed) since he's on his impromptu, mid-week reflection session at an undisclosed location in upstate NY /Canada on the water.

However, RT will be there this Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun. Since RT can walk to the track, he's there 4-5 days a week in the season at Saratoga.

If LLPP, Inc is interested in a corporate outing, please advise and RT will be happy to coordinate.

Re: lindsay lohan.

Not suprised here, she is the stereotypical girl that peaks in high school. You all have met Lindsay in your hometown. Remember 17-18 year old linds... red hair, smokin body. etc? That was her PEAK.  Then she dyed the hair blonde, got crack skinny, and hit up the nose candy. Reminds me of half of the "hot girls" from high school that I see when I go home that are craptastic now.

This might go down as the generation of disappointments.  Lindsay, Brittney, the Olsen twins... it's a sad sad world.

This reminds The Rev....

Did any one else have a category of girl in high school known as "hot scum"?

It's pretty self-explanitory.  Chick is smokin' hot, but has the mouth of a sailor and thinks an AMC Gremlin is a luxury car.  Lived in towns like East Pharsalia or Beaver Meadow, and probably had an El Camino on blocks in her front yard.

Anyone?

RE: Olsen twins

Has anyone or ones blown a billion partying/drinking/drugging/purging?  Would that be a record?

KS thinks Aerosmith has the record right now.  Think they have snorted up 5 mansions, three private jets, two helicopters and what they didn't snort they injected.

Of course Aerosmith had the talent to crash and burn and then resurrect their careers

That was half the hot chicks in KS high school.  You get a lot of those when you grow up in a town where it is illegal to date anyone that you aren't related to.

Is that fair??

It is if you need to compete against a club with a $200 MM pay roll.

Great win by the Sox.  Need to keep the momentum up - the west coast roadie looms in the distance (btw TGP is now accepting recommendations for excuses TGP can use to call in sick the day of and.or after he goes to the upcoming California Angels of Anaheim from Los Angeles - Red Sox series.

bless your heart on that commute....pbr did it last year when we went calabasas to anaheim(disney land) what a HUGE mistake on pbr's part. pbr's friend warned him about the traffic but mpbr and crumb gobblers really wanted to go...after sitting in traffic for 90 mins and moving about 500 yards pbr was ready to take his friends yukon he was driving and kick it in 4wd and start driving over everyones ferrari and porsches like big foot to get home....once above lax though pbr put on the afterburners and we were back in calabasas in no time...

Have the Red Sox ever played the Dodgers?  Speaking of Dodgers, there's a good HBO special running right now.  Any other LLPP'ers see it.

Yes, but its been a few years (TGP believes the last time was in May of 2004).  Was hoping with the NL West playing the AL East in inter league games this season we'd get them, but no luck.   At least TGP got to see the Sox down in SD.

TGP prefers the Bellagio Sportsbook to all others in Sin City.  MB kills with the beach, scenery, etc. but the Bellagio SB is the best IMO.

Absolutely.  And it seems to be the only sports book on the strip where you can still drink for free.

They are all still free on the main strip, but the Bellagio has about 4 waitresses all the time where the others have 2 at the most. (thats in the main section)

This is JT's pet peeve on a cruise ship.  If JT's throwing around a couple of grand at the casino, he shouldn't have to put a JD on his sail card.  JT will play some BJ, Roulette, and hold 'em.  JT knows he's not a whale, but he ain't throwing quarters in a slot machine.  He's playing $20 hands of BJ.

Do they even have whales in a cruiseship casino?  JT has seen some serious money thrown around, and even these doods aren't comped drinks on the ship.

JT, Ive asked. Im pretty sure you have to be playing $50 hands for 3 hours on average in order to start getting the cruise and stuff comped.

Is your cats idea of "drinking free" a waitress that comes around once every hour to take an order that takes 30 minutes to fill?  Are you kidding Reg?

They have the whole drinking free thing down to a science.  If I am at a table by the time they get back with my drink, I am either up 300% and don't really care that I have a drink that is 30 mins late or busted out sitting there waiting to recoup $3 bucks worth of my losses, in which I have to give the waitress a dollar out of Regs pocket.

Your right Reg but you know what?  A few Casinos (Ceasars and the Mirage) have really tried to seperate themselves within the last 2 years and now a bottle of beer is $7 or $8 when it used to be $4 or 5$ just a year ago.  Not a huge deal but in the long run it just makes you feel better if your saving $50 a day on booze.  Especially when your losin big.

$50 is a little high for JT right now, but good to know.
