yup... a win.  1 close win, 1 close loss (to the eventual east region champs, not bad), and 3 monkey stomps vs RPI.    Still not the test the enginegros need before Hobart, IMO.

Very true. But still pretty good, IMO.

Ehh, let's have a little perspective here: Utica 13-27 (.325) the past four years. Hobart 32-10 (.762). Over three years, Utica 12-18 (.400), Hobart 26-6 (.813).

Utica needs at last one more year of better than 3-7 before we get to "pretty good" status.

RT's preseason LL poll:

1) RPI
2) Union/UR (tie)
3) Hobart
4) SLU

In this league, you can't underrate the value of a top flight QB and Jimmy Robertson is, by far, the class of this conference. RPI has good WR's who will take the slack off losing Branche at TE and a RB will step up. As usual, RPI will field a tough defense....they have some young guys returning and had a stellar recruiting class to fill some holes on special teams. The key is that Robertson will be running the offense and that's too much of a difference maker when Union loses Marotti and Hobart loses Mizro. 8-1 wins the LL in 2007....maybe even 7-2 but RT is going w/ an 8-1 RPI.

Phone it in...

Guru...the voice is primed up, in broadcasting form.

Is it weird that sometimes I catch myself in a daze staring at the girl on the bottom of RT's profile...for like 3-4 hours at a time?

Only if you think it's weird that Reg made that pic both Reg's and MR's computer backgrounds.

BTW....LL members must watch the new series "Mad Men" on AMC. It's very good. It's about a bunch of guys who work in advertising on Madison Ave (NYC) in the 1950's. It's great...drinking, smoking, sexist talk to the girls. Good, old school content that seems to be made for the LL. Check it out

Edit:
And cellphone background.....

JT used to go with a buddy for simulcasting at the Meadowlands in Dirty Jersey. It was like being dropped off in Siagon.  Man do those doods love to bet the ponies.
Buddy was often trying his latest fail proof formula.  JT would pick the horse names he liked win-place-show and often beat the guy.  Drove him nuts.  JT didn't read, study, or talk the lingo.

So true, so true.  TDT doesn't know what it is but the Asians LOVE to gamble.  Noticed lots of them in Vegas and in the past noticed large numbers of them playing any game imaginable at the local casino in MSP.

Jonny: Are you sure about the free drinks at the Bellagio?  TDT was reluctantly paying for his as were virtually all other folks who placed bets there.  Drinks were free as long as you were playing the video poker at the bar directly adjacent to all the sportsbooks on the Strip.  TDT was pretty amazed at how much the "quality" of the sportsbooks varied.  Some were real Top Notch LLPP, Inc approved setups while others were something you'd see in Laughlin...Also WTF is up with all the little tv setups "for racing customers only"?  Are you kidding TDT?  They sat empty the majority of the time regardless of what casino it was.

If you sit in the area of any sports book where there are chairs that face the TVs you will get free drinks.  And at any bar, you will always have to pay unless you are playing a game at the bar.  And even now at the Hardrock they only give you half off if you are playing videopoker at the bar.

Has MR asked, "Who the hell is that?"  JT told FMJT that it was Miss D3football.com 2007.  She bought it.

Somehow this might bite JT in the ass down the road.  For now, its Pat's problem.

Re: RT's gal -

TGP was asked by the Mrs tonight what "porno" site TGP was on while posting on the LLPP.  D'oh!
