JT = Jeffersons.....movin' on up to the east side

The old neighborhood isn't bad, lotsa old people, lotsa of Eastern European immigrants.  A very curmugeonly bunch.  We were only friends with one couple.

FMJT got into it with the next door neighbor while shoveling snow.  Psycho tenant from next door (middle eastern) thought we were putting snow in front of her car.  We were but about 5-6 ft in front.  She did a poor shovel job on her car in the street (didn't dig the tires out).  So she tries moving the car, wheels just spin.  We tell her to dig out the tires.

ME lady:  No FU. You put snow in front of my car.

FMJT:  You have plenty of room.  We just made your own snow pile bigger.  The reason you can get out is because your back tires are in the snow.

ME lady:  FU. You people are always causing problems.  I'm gonna call the cops.

FMJT: Go ahead and call 'em.  1) You don't own the public street and 2) We aren't the reason you can't get your car out.

ME lady [moves really close to FMJT]: FU. FU both to hell.

FMJT [gets in ME lady's grill]:  Go F yourself you psycho.  If you give me the keys, I can get your car out.

ME lady:  Walks away muttering in Arabic.

JT and FMJT finish shoveling go inside.  ME husband scurries out and finishes digging out car, then scurries back inside trying to avoid confrontation.  JT felt bad... anyone married to that witch, so he left the husband be.

Three days later a nice knife carved gouge in the colored plastic coating of FMJT's bumper appears.

People in the new hood are already dropping by and saying hi.  So it looks good so far.

Allendale, JT will be switching to wine and cheeze soon, the little JT's may end up at Union.
Smallest house on the block, decent lot size.  Lately people have been tearing places like JT's down and putting up McMansions.  We are a little out of place with a Honda Civic and an Accord, with people rolling Navagators, BMW and Mercedes SUV's.  Soccer mom central.

The backyard grill set up's put JT's to shame.

JT, brush up on your yiddish for Allendale.  I shouldn't make too much fun of the town, momma KS was born there, then moved to Ridgewood.  Papa KS was born in Brooklyn and moved to Ridgewood when he was 13, PKS never fit in with the stuffed shirts in Ridgewood.  PKS said the nicest people where the ones that worked for the stuffed shirts and the NY Giant and Yankee players that lived there.  PKS used to drive a Ridgewood cab after WWII and his favorite passenger was Johnny Mize.  Big tip and great stories and occasional tickets to ball games.

Seems to be a decent range of people. The people next door are cool, got a big friendly Lab.  Some people wouldn't want to be this close to the train stop, and it doesn't have central air.  A couple of A/C do the job.  And its old.

Don't want the LLPP to think JT is getting snooty.

PBR...

max yasquar's farm is on the market for a cool 8 million....they held woodstock there....time for one of the LLPP'rs to step up so we can hold our first LLPP summit there....

JT: You appear to be a savvy real estate investor.  TDT learned a long time ago that it is best to be the "cheapest" house in the neighborhood (doesn't matter if the range is 300K, 500K, 1M, 5M).  The other houses boost your curb appeal and appreciation follows closely.  Do you have pictures of the new Stomping Grounds?
Chasing MILFs since '82...

Regulator

LLPP need your opinion.

Reg needs to get his wisdom teeth taken out....(I have been putting this off for like 5 years now)

How bad is this going to hurt/effect Reg?  Should I plan on looking like a chipmunk for a week?...or does it only last a day or 2?

PBR...

reg...pack yer face in ice and get tylenol w/ codein + couple of beers and kick back and relax....should be in pain for a day or two...also depends how many are impacted if any.  just keep telling mreg how much it hurts and have her wait on you hand and foot(not that u dont already)

maninyellowhat

It really just depends Reg.  I had mine out and looked like Alvin for almost a week.

I've had friends who've just had the swelling for that day though.  The pain wasn't too bad.  Just a lot of Frosty's for a couple days.

Reg is just going to get them all done.  There is no way I am going to put myself through that ish tweece.

My dentist tells me that they should "pop right out" so I am hoping for the best....

Now....local or general anestesia?

Knightstalker

KS would ask for Novacaine and gas and have MR drive home, that way she can pick up the vics that a nice dentist would prescribe and a case of ML to help with the recovery.

I say go general.  You're going to be taking the day off of work, why not get schtooped up in the meantime?

No.  Cameras are packed among so many boxes.  Gonna take time to sort things out.  After the moving company got to the new place, 2 hrs was added to the estimate (appropriately).  He said if we go over you don't pay anymore.  As it got closer to over the time, they started putting boxes in the closest spots.  We couldn't keep track of everyone. And only one spoke perfect English, so who knows whether they can read the boxes or not.

Most stuff is in the right places.  Gonna take time.  I gave them subs and cokes for lunch (which they ate after) and kept a cooler full of gatoraid and water.  They did a good job.  I didn't pay for great.  Then I gave them a tip.

They are members of BBB and had the least complaints in 36 months and resolved them all.  Of the 10 movers evaulated, they were the fifth least expensive.

Told the company that I'd fill out the review after I've inspected every box. JT bought an $8 insurance policy www.[moving company name]sucks.com.  JT has used threat of sucks.com with success.  Every major business transaction involves JT getting the appropriate sucks.com

FMJT said that one guy put the China box upside down.  So everything will be evaluated at my leasure.
