My dentist tells me that they should "pop right out" so I am hoping for the best....

JT had all 4 done at once as a teen.  Go for general.  You don't want hear or see any of that stuff.  Swelling about a day or two.  You will feel pretty good going home, but just get ready to pop a couple of percs or vics.  Its a very dull annoying pain w/o meds.  Spend two days with the meds and beer... no sweat.  Ice cream also feels and tastes very good.

general!!!! pbr's friend does this and if you see the tools they use to take those mf'rs out you will need to be strapped down!!  the f'n hammers and pliers are NOT a pretty sight and they really yank/pull/hammer on them so do yourself a favor and get knocked out.

yeah, you don't feel a thing with local (except that 1st shot, ow!!)... but it's just weird being awake as they go to town on your pie hole.

What you don't like the sound of cracking and grinding teeth?  KS had his out in the Navy, Doc gave KS novicaine and then gas, didn't quite knock KS out completely.  Afterwards KS was given Demarol, KS was in LaLa land for two days.  KS didn't care about pain.

Regulator are you getting soft on the LLPP?  TDT always picks up this "tough guy" persona from you.  WTF...TDT had his taken out a few moons ago.  Really minimal pain/agony.  Lots of bleeding and numbness.  I got prescribed the good drugs and only took one of them (saved for a rainy day now).  Like PBR said, it prolly depends on how many are "impacted" and your pain tolerance level.  TDT had local anestetic.  Didn't see the drill jockey performing his craft and it went off without a hitch.

LD11 had 1 taken out once, then 3 taken out the other time.  Both times, LD11 got nothing more than some novacaine.  They went in, made a cut, went in with some pliers and yanked it out.  Didn't hurt a bit, didn't feel a thing.  You get freaked out cause you THINK it's gonna hurt and it doesn't. 

I had pretty much zero swelling.  Other than being numb for a few hours and having annoying stitches for a couple days, it wasn't bad with a few percocet. 

Now, I have always wondered who some of these butchers are out there who put people to sleep and work their face over leaving them swolen and in bed for a week.  Make sure you have a young dentist who isn't old school.  Those guys have no clue. 

I am actually aggravated at this subject because i feared having them out my whole life and honestly, a root canal is worse.

That is Regs exact situation.....how bad can it possibly be...right?
Reg has a call into a anestesiologist friend who can help him, but seriously, why would you need to be knocked out completely...it seems like an opportunity for a Doc to take his frustration out on your grill, kind of like drawing all over the first kid to pass out at a party.

Depends if they are impacted or not.  KS were impacted and had to be broken up to get out.  If they aren't impacted it should be easy.

Rolevio has only has one pulled but his experience pretty much replicates LD's.  Local shot, felt absolutely nothing (including the shot) and it took about 2 minutes total.  Rolevio didn't have stitches or percosets though.  They just tossed some gauze in Rolevio's mouth and he was doing 80 down 24S about 5 minutes after the tooth was pulled.

RT never heard from you re: Saratoga.....all talk, no action.

Anyway, RT had a nice little weekend. Fri-Sun....bankrolled with $250. Final tally cashed in = $1877.50. If you count the $150 RT disposed of last Wed in one of the worst showings of his career, RT was still up over $1700 for this week.

In an unrelated development, FFMRT decided to tell RT
she'd "had enough" and started to pack when all of RT's friends/wives were in town for the weekend. Completely selfish timing and RT somehow talked her off the ledge. We've been communicating today but RT is feeling like he needs to sit down w/ her once and for all and put this thing to bed. RT has not been looking forward to this moment

not to be rude...but why did you talk her off the ledge?  Everything realistic has read about the situation seems like that would have made your life easier...

Either way, good luck with the talk but do it soon so you can still enjoy the summer and the track, etc in freedom.
