I think they are headed in that direction.  The dome is getting old.  Unfortunately there isn't a lot of room around campus for a big facility, even out where the new stuff by Manley is going.  The prime location of the dome is one of the biggest positives of it.  Dome or not, I still think recruiting kids to Syracuse from across the country for Hoops and Football has to be one of the hardest recruiting jobs in the country.

I have no problem with the big "S" logo.  Just a logo to me. Looks like they are on a marketing campaign to become "New York's Team".  It sucks that NY doesn't have a college football identity but other large population states have 2 or 3 teams.

As bad as this sounds, for Syracuse to get good some other teams have to get worse. And with the recent rise of Louisville, West Virginia, Rutgers, and South Florida... the cuse has an uphill battle just in their own conference.

Cuse fans can always feel better on Sunday's watching McNabb, Harrison, Freeny, and Bullock who are arguably the top 5 in the NFL at their positions (donavin darius used to be on this list too).

double edged sword there though.  It also makes us remember that Pasqualoni had some great years and some amazing recruits.

I like the 'S' as well......reminds me of another Northern NY college which displays a giant 'U'.....if only the 'cuse could enjoy the same success.....

At least with these new unis that Cuse is sporting, Hobart can no longer be accused of being the "mini Cuse" since for a long while it seemed like Hanna was basically ordering the same deal as the Orange.

TGP (and the Rev) still would prefer to see us bust out with the Royal Purple and Orange (Hobart's actual school colors) - not BLUE
