Paltalk might even be better. http://www.paltalk.com/  Video the actual media day. Coaches and players that can't make it can watch the media day.  Cam up the no shows. Put a few PC's or laptops at media day with webcams.  Media can see and interview the no shows.

Get the geeks at each school to set it up.  Its pretty simple.  Probably already have the hardware on hand.

Rolevio

Rolevio just had the draft meeting for his fantasy football money league, and got tenth out of ten.  Rolevio is already not expecting to win that league.

10th isn't bad.  Much better than 5-8...

And if you can have RT in your league, he can leave you a nice back like Willie Parker or Reggie Bush...or both...and he'll take Carson Palmer....

There are two people that could have oddball picks.  And the league deemphasizes WR's and has the QB about on par with the RBs so I may be able to grab Parker and Bush or one of them and a non-Manning top QB such as Brees or Brady.

There are enough point producing qbs and rbs out there that picking 10 is not suicide...you just have to be smarter than the rest

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

RT guarantees you that Palmer will outproduce both Parker and Bush, especially Reggie Bush. Bush is overrated on fantasy. McAllister gets the majority of the touches, especially at the goal line.

Fantasy Rule #1 - Know the Scoring System

LLPPFFL is 1 point per reception 10/rush yd, 15/rec yard 20/pass yd, and passing TD's are 4pts each.... pass catching RB's are gold. I almost took Reggie Bush at #9, but Brian Westbrook is just as good (sans injuries)

QB's are slightly marginalized with 4pt TDs.  Palmer is the legit #2 QB behind manning, but not light years ahead of the 7 or 8th best QB (mcnabb, kitna) who you can get much later in the draft. When you pass on a RB in the 1st round the pool dries up significantly after that.

It's Science.

that's why I like Reg's team so much...first off having LT right away makes him a legit contender but to also have Jones is  solid esspecially in the jets offense where Pennington can not throw very far....and then to have servicable qbs is also important

I think that the person who wrote the "key notations" was an "English-is-my-second-language" type.

"Stop winging?"

Nah!  Use that key for "STOP WHINING!"

Not necessarily an ESL type.  There are many native-born Americans whose English is atrocious.

From the Norwich linguistic files:

  • "I seen him wit my own two eyes."
  • "Yeah it ain't."
  • "So don't I."

Then again, you may be right.  I was walking through an anti-American rally at Dong-A University in Pusan, South Korea where I taught ESL in 2000. They had a sign saying, "Yangkee go Home." I told the kid holding the sign about the mistake, he apologized for the misspelling, and thanked me for correcting it.  "Oh~~ Meestah Sumiss! Sank you belly muchy!  Good teacher!"  The kids then went on chanting anti-American slogans in Konglish.  Mission accomplished.
