My Dad introduced me to baseball, but it was Scooter who got me to love the game.  He was a big part of my childhood.  Met him many times as a kid and an adult.  Truly a very nice man.  He will be missed.

Vicks case is a complicated one with dog fighting, animal abuse, and gambling all involved... but Gro believes Vick will do less than a year maybe 12 months tops.  Not making light of the charges, but people do worse things and do less time.

He'd be better off had he done a little coke or slapped a girlfriend around.  Abuse an animal and a world of shizz is coming your way.  We live in a strange society, and I consider myself a "dog" person.

The one thing you have to consider is that the Feds aren't going to give Vick a better deal than those that flipped against him.  He should have come clean earlier, lying to the NFL Commissioner is going to get him suspended from the NFL after Vick gets out.

Well if he was basically just the money man, but the program was run by someone else, Vick might have something.  ESPN radio was reporting that Vick is trying to get a year or less.
