NNR - No worries man.  We believe that you had some good quicks.  Since the Dawg has been getting a bunch of trophies and plaques for his office and home, the Dawg figured he'd send you a 2nd place trophy for the 2nd fastest 40 time at the U.  A 2nd place trophy is better than no trophy right???  It'll be at least 5 ft tall so whoever comes in and sees it will automatically think it was a 1st place trophy.  Plus the "2nd Place" will be in very small lettering so only a microscope could read it.

Just curious though - Why did the U decide to make you a dback???  Having that kind of speed in the secondary at the D1 level is def. a plus but Dawg thinks that putting you on the offensive side of the ball with that speed at the DIII level would have been a much smarter move on the U's part.  Would have been much tougher for D's to keep up w/you and you already played WR in HS to begin with.  Just a little baffled why they didn't keep you on the offensive side of the ball.  Any thoughts???

Holla as a U fan (not sure if youy played) a bit of heads up... Dino likes putting his speed on defense, atleast when I was there... he moved several players to defense for speed purposes when I was there and most of the time had tall recievers with less speed. I was told my sophmore year I could play reciever if I came in at 180, I did, but no reciever position... oh well... how it crumbled I guess...

I can't verify NNR's 40 time as anything other than a senior when it was in the 5.1-5.4 area.

ZA played three positions, guard, end, and tackle....He guarded the waterbucket, sat on the end of the bench, and tackled anyone who came near it...The waterboy movie, was actually made because of ZA's reputation of guarding the water bucket!!!

ZA is knowlegeable and experienced in knee surgeries (7) with one upcoming....ZA was recruited by colleges all over the country (being serious) only to find that reconstructive knee surgery after highschool and the following 40 yard dash debacle, made all college offers go bye-bye (not to mention poor grades)...ZA's Dad did not know that if he threatened ZA with no football unless grades were good, ZA loved football enough to get good grades....ZA's Dad later was quoted as saying "if I knew that, I would have done that...I just thought you were stupid".....

Reg, ZA was "up" for this idea until reading about it more and the external fixator device...ZA knows someone who had one of those on her legs because of a severe break and it was painful and gross...

Knightstalker is already on the way with the food eating.  Knightstalker bought a Pecan pie from the cafeteria at work today(their pies are always good) and was going to take it to Mama Stalkers but Knightstalker wanted some desert after lunch and has already eaten almost a quarter of the pie.  Knightstalker will blame missus Stalker and the little Stalkerette for eating the pie when he gets to mama Stalkers house.
