Welcome aboard RJ.

Please follow the LLPP Rules and Regulator-ations of posting in the 3rd person on this thread (that goes for you too JU)

TGP believes Frank's comment meant that the LL this year will be very competitive.  In the past it has been dominated usually by 1 or 2 teams that go either 6-0 or 5-1 in league play, and gets the NCAA AQ (lately the 2nd place LL team has received a Pool C bid).

This season, it's prognosticated that the AQ could go to a team that wins in a tie breaker (which the LL has a fairly intricate one) - especially since adding a new team to the league, we have a 7 game league schedule.

Rochester is coming off a strong season, Union and Hobart have lost significant pieces to their teams from last season, RPI has a few key losses, but they also have the most experienced returning QB.  Even SLU has made significant strides (beating RPI last year and going 5-5).

Should be an interesting season.

Thanks for the insight and it should be an interesting season.

Game on, boys.

Two league losses will win the Liberty League this year.  This is gonna be a wild and wooly season.

It must be FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

bman

Bman has just returned from his vacation in ODAC country...

...but has nothing to add...he just thought he should let you all know...

TGP finished reading Hobart's preview in the Kickoff 2007.

Short and sweet, but definitely informative.  Sounds like Cragg was even interviewed?

Interesting insight re: FY RB Marlier as a potential starter.  Good size and from outside Chicago (Lake Forest).

As long as you didn't come back with a wad of Redman in your cheek, a pickup truck with a gun rack, and a hound named Blu... you're still OK.

Knightstalker

KS used to have a pickup truck with a gun rack, chewed levi garrett and had a hunting dog.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

JT spent some of his formative years in NC, TX, and OK... so he was just having fun with a stereotype.  When JT worked for EDS in TX, he used to dip, owned a couple of guns, and had a jeep.

Should have kept the Glock.

bman

Funny...Bman never even thought of that...in fact, Bman does own a pick-up, does chew (Redman), and does own a shotgun (but does not have a gun-rack)...

Bmans favorite handgun is the Sig (although Bman has MUCH more experience with rifles than small arms)

being in SW VA, Bman did get the sense a few times that Banjos were going to start playing, and he would be asked to squeal like a pig  :o

I think I can speak for Guru when I say that likely all 238 coaches were interviewed or attempts were made to contact them (although maybe one or two can't be reached), even though they don't use direct quotes in the capsules -- That's what makes it such a tough production at the end of the day.  Give Guru and his team their props (and your $8.95) for their hard work.

You also can't leave it up to the coaches alone.  A little digging, prodding and probing is required of the writers in order to get some good tidbits.

Yazz Fute appears to be a bit nervous of his week 1 match-up with all the crazy waiver wire moves.......calm down 'Gro....it's only one loss for you.
