Happy Turkey Day to the finest smack talkers in all of DIII.  Eat and Drink in copious amounts. I'm off to Georgia tommorrow morning to visit my 89 ish grandfather and patriarch of the Wilson clan.

Tough dude with enough WWII medals to choke a horse. It's all about respect.  Used to have big fights over music, people, life back in JT's teen years.  JT will pick a few fights with grandfather this week because that what keeps him going.  He likes a good verbal battle.  So JT will accomodate.

Garnet, what is your former HS playing in the 'Cuse this weekend? GB15's former HS(Webster) will be in the AA State Title Game. GB15 is thinking of making the trip to the Dome for the final.

Good thing Greg Paulus is no longer slinging rock for CBA--instead, he has a wicked jumpshot for Coach K(I'm not a Duke fan, I swear)--because they killed Webster last year. Kid could have gone to Notre Dame and played football AND basketball. He was filthy.

I haven't even gotten to holiday stress yet. More like 600-game basketball weekends coinciding with football playoffs.

Well NNR took a -7 karma hit the day before thanksgiving...

NNR is not thankful for that, but a few of the things he is thankful for this year...

10. My house – there are many people in this world today who have no place to live.  Many of them sleep on park benches and under bridges (NNR calls them bums and gives them money for booze)

9. Food - NNR always have plenty to eat at his house.  Many people don't.  Every day as I drive home from work, I see people standing beside the road holding a sign that says, "Will work for food." (this makes NNR sad)

8. Clothes – NNR never have to worry about whether there will be clothes in his closet for him to put on each day.  Many people only have the clothes that they are wearing.

7. Health – NNR is thankful that he is blessed with good health.  Many people have a serious illness which keeps them from enjoying a full and happy life. (when I was a child I was diagnosed with a hip disease and was never suppose to walk again... luckily by some miracle my hip regrew... this is a true story)

6. My country – I am thankful that I live in a country where I enjoy great freedom.  In many countries you don't have much freedom.  In some countries you can be put in prison, or even put to death, for telling others about what you think

5. Teachers – I am thankful for the teachers that I have had in school who have taught me the things I needed to know to live a happy and successful life. (being a teacher I have realized this)

4. Friends – I am thankful for my many friends.  In times of trouble, I have always had friends who were there to help me. (yes even you fools )

3. Family – I am thankful for my family.  God has given me a wonderful lady and many other family members whom I love very much.

2. Parents – I am thankful that God blessed me with wonderful parents who loved me, cared for me, and taught me about Jesus and his love.

You guys are a great group... thanks for the laughs and good times this year. NNR can be a prick sometimes but truth is it is always meant in good fun... I wish you all a wonderful holliday and hope you have a great time with your families.
