"The defense will step it up until the offense catches up," senior linebacker and captain Vito Pellerito said.

Now Reg knows why he detests some of the people in the Union program so much.  Who says that?

"it's ok if you guys suck....we will work harder to pick up your slack!"

Check out his player profile....Dude, you are a senior....pick a major already!!!

And as the leaves start to fall, Reguhater returns.......

Easy for you to say U89......didn't they let you graduate "Undeclared".......zing

'Graduate'.....what is this thing 'Graduate' which you speak of??

Didn't they give you a diploma when you left that dump or did you use it appropriately when you crossed the stage? i.e. as store brand toilet paper.

PBR...

if pbr hits the powerball for 200+million tonite pbr is thinking of starting his own d3 college..... the LLPP will be a mandatory course for students to take and everyone here will be guest lecturers!!!

TGP would think PBR would simply donate a nice chunk of change to DVC and open up the PBR School of Biz-nazz?

TGP could teach When the Capital Markets Crap the Bed 101

TDT could teach Swinging off Nutz 222

Reg could teach Home Ec (as in how to hook up a phat Viking grill)

RT could teach Investing 101, OTB 201 and Macking Hoes 369

Rev could teach Religious Studies and (Female) Asian Appreciation

U89 could teach Fine Wine and Cheese

Counselor Franklin Roosevelt Rossi, Esquire could teach Pre-Law 101 (aka Suing your azz into the next decade).

TGP is probably forgetting several other courses (and visiting professors) that could apply here.

Ok.  So JU went to Lowes to get Ma Utah a grill for her birthday.  She didn't want me to go overboard with a real nice grill but she didn't want it to be too small either.  So JU went with the $169.00 BBQ Grillware 42,000 BTU Grill.  Probably the cheapest namebrand you could find and I put it together with relative ease and it has a good sized cooking area with 3 burners.

Does LLPP think it was worth it to go with the cheap brand big one, or should I have gone with the somewhat smaller $299 Webber Grill, knowing that the quality would have been guarenteed.  (Ma Utah will not be using the grill every night, maybe a few times a month on the weekends)

(Lowes does not have the Weber Grills online for some reason)

Frank Rossi

Far be it from me to be amazed and upset to the Nth degree by some act or statement (Union-Hobart '05 aside, of course), but this article irks me to no end:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=bryant_howard&id=2986420

Long story, short -- the NFL Players Association deserves the right to have some level of credibility at the end of the day, and supporting malicious felonious behavior by players would undermine the entire ability of the NFLPA to make gains on issues that will benefit its membership at large instead of the 2% of morons that exist in the NFL.

JU - Realistic thinks you did the right thing.  If she was grilling nightly and year-round maybe you would have done something different.  But that looks good and you can always get replacement parts, grills, etc if something bad happens.

Yea but I think some of this Frank has to do with the fact that the Union has to make sure the innocent are proven guilty before the league can take action (now guilt is admitted but the process is not over of course).  I mean, what if the Duke Lacrosse players were NFL players and the Union never said or did anything right up untill the time the story started to become clear?

Frank,

After reading the article, it seems as though some members of the NFL are a "Deny it til you die" type of crowd....that is, the NFLPA better have my back until I am doing 5-10.
Why not save the "rainy day fund" for something on the fence?  You know,... give and take w/ the commish?

JU,

Good choice on not buying the $99 grill. (good choice on buying the no-name grill that is just as good as the weber for 2-4 years(don't plan on getting more than that out of it))  Bad choice on letting Ma JU use it.  Did someone take your man card away or something?  Chicks don't touch grills.

Yea, I was hoping she could get at least 3-5years out of it.  (making sure a good cover is on it and in the garage in the winter)

But getting a female a grill is a reason in itself not to get a Weber one.

What is the average life expectency on you average $500-$700 Weber Grill that is outside 12 months of the year and used year round? (with cover on it of course when not being used)

Speaking of grills, Tags has a question for the LLPP. Tags grill was fine all last summer, and into this summer. Now it evidently wants to flame up in front of the burner knobs about 5 minutes into grilling.

Thoughts on how to mitigate this? It's killin' me!
