PBR, Did you not think Reg would blow this pic up 500% ?  What's up with the "GeneGalin2002tm" on the bottom right hand corner?!?

Amature hour.

and Reg was literally 2 seconds away from a right click, "save as background"
I can see it now
MR- who's that?
Reg-wasn't me!

Yea PBR....I was thinking the same thing.  The comment didn't seem to be a joke...yet the pic is obviously from some website......hmm......pbr owes LLPP an explination.....

Speaking of grilling:

Texas 30 - Baltimore 3.

That's a baseball score, I kid you not.  At what point does a manager get a little peeved about the opponent running up the score?  Better yet, the Orioles led 3-0 until the top of the 4th Inning.  The 6 runs scored in the 9th at 24-3...That's kinda rubbing it in!

Ummmm - And I just noticed, that was Game 1 of a double-header...Any prediction at how many brawls break out in Game 2?

and all on the day the Os name that manager as next years too.....

Ok.  So JU went to Lowes to get Ma Utah a grill for her birthday.  She didn't want me to go overboard with a real nice grill but she didn't want it to be too small either.  So JU went with the $169.00 BBQ Grillware 42,000 BTU Grill.  Probably the cheapest namebrand you could find and I put it together with relative ease and it has a good sized cooking area with 3 burners.

Does LLPP think it was worth it to go with the cheap brand big one, or should I have gone with the somewhat smaller $299 Webber Grill, knowing that the quality would have been guarenteed.  (Ma Utah will not be using the grill every night, maybe a few times a month on the weekends)

(Lowes does not have the Weber Grills online for some reason)

RT bought the $299 Weber from Lowes last year. It's like cast-iron sex. It cooks everything even all the time, no matter where you put it on the grill (even the edges). The electric starter lasts a long time, it's got the ceramic grill tops, and the hood even feels solid. The issue w/ the lower cost grills is they don't cook evenly and the cooking elements and ignition tend to wear out

Speaking of grills, Tags has a question for the LLPP. Tags grill was fine all last summer, and into this summer. Now it evidently wants to flame up in front of the burner knobs about 5 minutes into grilling.

Thoughts on how to mitigate this? It's killin' me!

tags it definetly sounds just what pbr had and numerous people around pbr have had...spider nest....they are attracted to the smell of propane and build a nest in your line usually the stainless steel part that runs under the grill and makes a 90 degree turn up to the burners... 2 minute fix take it apart and look at the piece pbr bets you see a white nest in there. first time it happened to pbr he is standing there grilling a steak drinking beer all of sudden flames start shooting out all around the controls scared the ish out of pbr.  did a little research and its very common for spiders to make a nest in there get a little stick or coat hanger and rip up the nest or pull it out

thanks PBR - that sounds pleasant. Who knows, it could be any one of the things you guys have brought up. Tags will have to investigate & get back to you.

... or just buy a new grill b/c Tags is too lazy to investigate further. Let's just say Tags is not what we'd call "handy"

Here's what TGP is packing grill wise:

Turbo STS 3 burner natural gas (hook up to house)

Definitely worth the extra dough if you grill all year 'round like TGP can do out here in SoCal.  Steel is a lot easier to keep clean, etc as well.

A good play - at the end of the day, the fog will lift & Countrywide will still be a large player in the mortgage industry. I bet BofA makes a ton of money on it down the road. Asset backed securities won't fold, the ridiculous risks these guys are taking will stop for a while.

IE: Lehman & all these i-banks trying to get that extra dough outside of their core businesses falling flat on their face.

Naked Nott Run

NNR is back in action after a crazy summer... Got a shackle on my ring finger 7/7/7 and went on first cruise... Carnival fed me well.... NNR is in high spirits and is happy to see you boyz posting strong. NNR can't wait for Union Homecoming so he can see Union Legend Danny Franklin Mint Mehleisen make his NCAA coaching debut...for SASSY-HANA.. Should be able to laugh at him for a good year after the rape. Hope all is well... Your Neighborhood chick magnet,
The Professor
Anyone notice how none of the kids from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were even a little bit cool... Where was the athlete who pile drives wonka into the chocolate river??? Coulda done sooo much more with that "classic"

JQV

NNR, how do the Dragons look this fall?  Doug Williams' kid going to be starting under center?

Naked Nott Run

We look real good bro... We won the USF 7 on 7 South Region Championship... Beat up plant pretty good actually. We have Grossi under center and Williams is back up but not sure if he will be for long. We have a freshman QB who is 14... can throw the ball about 60 yards on the dot and looks like a reincarnation of Stephen Garcia Talent-wise (I know that is a lot to say, but he is the real deal). What are your boys looking like :)

I haven't seen them yet but heard they look really good.  Apparently the QB they got from Jesuit last year is also a stud.  Some people have been comparing him to Marve but that is obviously exaggeration.  Even if he is just above-average the team will be good with all the WRs back.  Not really sure what comes back on defense.  Should be another fun fall around here.

realistic

well....realistic thinks the guy over on the Illini-Badger conference board has LLPP wrath coming to him.

head over there and read what this guy spouting off about refusing to pay $8.95 for the Kickoff.  Even better, he's asking questions about stuff that is in it.

Kind of a steal for BofA if you ask TGP.  Still, we'll take any good news these days.  Not a big surprise since BofA has been lurking/wanting to acquire CFC for a long, long time.  Finally had an opportunity to get their foot in the door and Angelo finally didn't slam it in their faces.

PBR...

pbr is w/ ya tgp it definetly was a steal especially the convertible stock price they are in the money immediately....but as they say in desperate times people do desperate things....
